Beautiful knife, beautiful city. What is the era of the buildings with the tiled facades?

Different pic of the same knife. I´m going to go to the fire range in a few hours. Looking forward to shoot this nice "old" Marlin in .30-30 Winchester I bought earlier this summer. Despite its short barell a rather accurate rifle.

He's a bit of a long dog, but light and slim in the pocket. No build issues at all and I've always liked their ACSB handle option, feels and looks right:thumbup:

Nice #11, Will! I've had one on my wish-list for a while, and I think this has inspired me to pull the trigger finally. It is pay-day after all. :)

Today i'm carrying my 772115 Red Sawcut.

Car's in the shop, it's gonna rain all weekend, I guess I'll get some work done inside. Before that, though:

Happy Friday to all.

The railway was buit in 1888, the house on the left is like most of buildings slightly pre- or post- 1900. That one on the right is known as the Deneux building, according to the architect who built it 1911-3,and lived on the last floor (there were some plantations on the roof for a while).
A lot of little flat or one storey houses still exist around ("villas", often in narrow lanes), but tend to disappear.
This is one boulevard away of the limits of Paris intra-muros, the back of Montmartre. It is also one avenue of the limits of the popular XVIIIth district and the cosy bourgeois XVIIth.

Jolipapa,

Great pics and what a fun tour. Thanks for doing that. I love that architecture.

Andi,

I love Marlin lever guns, my favorite for all-around fun and utility. Nice stag on that fixed blade.

eschwebach,

Awesome Beer Scout - is that Cocobolo wood? That blade combo is a great one.

That BEM that Queen has put on the Northwoods Barlow is really eye-catching HST.:cool: Far better than the grade they used on their own run of D2 knives about 10 years back. Inspired me to choose Queen today too.

Just a wonderful tribute knife, Jack!

I was in the mood for some fixed blade this morning... PUMA Solingen made Jagdnicker

I am cleaning the bluegills I caught this morning and carrying my 83 in orange camel bone. Yes I did do a vinegar bath on the OVB blades and nothing else. I bought it in a group of four knives which included.....gulp......The Hatch  Haunting isn't it Gevo?:D
