I have not posted much lately but I am keeping up with most threads! The Fremont Jack has been my carry for the last week. .

Slightly modded Sodbuster.
I have a maroon micarta version left fully bladed, but I felt this one asked for a change.

Unknown reason I have spent a lot of time thinking about Exotic Bocote lately! So I carried this little 55 Houndstooth today! ;):eek::D

Thanks Tim, love that Dowell....not exact but it reminds me a little bit of a knife I've been looking for sometime, a Loveless Green Micarta City Knife:cool::thumbup:

Amazing picture of a great knife! I'm with you on those Mercators, it is a shame I don't own one considering the price.

My attempt at a fall picture with one of my all time favorites.

No kidding. For that price especially!
Love seen that knife Erik. I couldn't and don't want to imagine it without that patina and wear. ;):D

Nice gesture on Roland's part Dan. Is that an old Camillus? Nice pic too Dan.

Bob, Roland was true gent. Sat down and just chatted knives with little bits of life in between. :p
It's an old Imperial. Prov R.I. and USA stamped. The blades were polished but it just allows for me to make my own patina on this ol gem.

A great looking combo Jerry D. Curious what's the little fixed blade? Looks like it's my kind of knife with the size, slim profile and oh that sweet sweet micarta!

Gorgeous! What a good looking blade L2D

Great looking Jerry, nice bullnose!

Man oh man Tim, you are getting some super nice custom traditional knives my friend!:cool:

Thank you Mark, I blame it on everyone here xD

Likewise Paul. Good eye! It actually is just that. A zulu bladed Bob Loveless City knife tribute. There have been 3 made, mine is marked 2 and the 3rd is accurate to the city knife with that wharncliffe blade with a subtle belly.

Another crack o' dawn start tomorrow, and another trip to Sheffield. Going to have these two along for the ride

Gorgeous photo Jack. That one really made me smile. :) I hope you had an enjoyable trip to Sheffield.

These 2 for me today

Terrific pair of knives!

Great looking Workhorse.

Still going strong with the 77

Beautiful!

Boker lockback for me today... Another wet and windy one outside. :barf:

Great looking Boker, and a terrific photo too.

Carved the 'lanterns Tuesday night, been quite busy until now.

Bear with his pumpkin, and
Bug with hers.

Great job on the pumpkins and the photos. Wonderful!

I haven't been able to leave the house without this 110.

And the slip joint for the day is the 77.

Two more beauties. I'm particularly taken with the 110.

Stunning! The knife and the photo. :)

Tim - that's a great looking knife!

Stunning fixed blade and photo.

It's been a while since I've purchased anything, but I happily fell off the wagon when Bret Dowell informed me that my name had finally reached the front of his build list. This little 3 3/8" ebony dogleg was waiting for me when I returned from my trip last night and I was thrilled to carry it today.

I like this even more than the original! Great mod, I have always felt the point was just a touch lacking as much as I like the drop point.

Thank you Stephen, glad to see you back. Bret can make you fall off the wagon in knife buying in an instant!
That's a beauty of a dogleg and in wood covers as well. Haven't seen one like it.

Great pics. Is it a prerequisite to be a great photographer for this thread? I try my best anyhow. Are there ever calendars made?

Bleh good call on using the electrician. I kept thinking that the 65 fish knife would be handy for pumpkins with the saw and it looks like a sleander clip point. The 54 was a bit wide so I used the spear mainly, I had to use the Big Jack though, it's my most carried.
Bear with his pumpkin, and
Bug with hers.

Wonderful pictures! Priceless

Stephen, thank you! And your Dowell is very, very nice. I haven't ventured into that level of custom yet but look forward to it someday :)
