Thanks Ron. That houndstooth looks very nice. If the bocote on my forum knife looks half as good as that then I will be more than happy.

STREK was perfect for sawing into our pumpkins. After we got the tops off with the saw, my wife carved hers with the STREK, while I used my 77 stag Jack (which I also used last year).

Awesome pic!

Man, that yellow is awesome!

Edit: Apparently "awesome" is the only adjective I could think of tonight.

Thank you bt, when it came up on the sale forum I apparently thought it was "awesome" as well:D

To say I'm more than a little pleased with it is an understatement:):o

Thanks Tim and Erik. That #33 has been carried most days for the last few years. Sometimes as the main, sometimes with another knife too.

Great pics. Is it a prerequisite to be a great photographer for this thread? I try my best anyhow. Are there ever calendars made?

Carved the 'lanterns Tuesday night, been quite busy until now.

Bleh good call on using the electrician. I kept thinking that the 65 fish knife would be handy for pumpkins with the saw and it looks like a sleander clip point. The 54 was a bit wide so I used the spear mainly, I had to use the Big Jack though, it's my most carried.
Bear with his pumpkin, and
Bug with hers.

Those look great. I'm starting to think so with all the great pics. I'm with you, I'll try anyhow, however, your pumpkin pics look awesome.

It's a dark brown -- color really shows up in natural light, but it changes a lot depending on the environment.

Very cool, I've never seen one before.
