What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Jack - intriguing photos today of two terrific knives. I assume that's an ice climbing tool in the second photo, though if use of such a tool involves getting so cold that my beard freezes, I hope to never need one. :)

Primble - it's always great to see your photos, and those three Catts you're carrying today are simply extraordinary examples from your collection. I hope you've been doing well. :)

r8shell - lovely photo of your Yellow Rose.

Gevonovich - stunning bone on your carry today. Really wonderful, and tomorrow's Catt Barlow is equally impressive.

Sean - another wonderful forum knife. I really like the coloration on yours.

BrotherJim - outstanding jigging on your 83. Very nice.

Dan - fantastic looking 73.

Will - great looking 'cat', and the ram's horn looks great too. :D

Ron - that's a wonderful looking lamb foot you're totin' today. Love that one.

I felt old and tired this morning so I decided to slip something even older in my pocket. This E.C. Simmons Keen Kutter fit the bill and improved my mood markedly. I hope all of you had a terrific day. :)

Thank you Stephen and great to see you posting. I can see why the KK would improve your mood. Fantastic jigging on that one !:D

Probably be an old Catt that you might remember in my Catt entourage tomorrow. ;):D

I certainly enjoy seeing what everyone posts in this thread :thumbup:, but I seem incapable of keeping up! :( Here are some posts that caught my eye as I was scrolling through 3 or 4 days' worth of posts.

That's one of my old ice axes Stephen, I noticed a few rust spots on it and thought I'd give it a quick wipe over, took the pic at the same time. The choice of the two pics was actually quite coincidental, the advert in the other pic is from an old climbing journal I picked up in the market. Very rarely I have need of an ice axe these days :)

I know how you feel my friend, hope that beautiful knife put some spring in your step! :)

Very nice :)

Sheffield's, old and new, in my pocket today. Have a great day everyone

Interesting photos JP, thanks. I remember stopping at the very spot back in 1978. Brave boys and girls all

* A special thanks to Stephen and Mark for two of these. :)

Going fishing for maybe the last time this year as the weather forecast looks to put an end to it and I will be bringing the boat home for the winter next week. :o

Thanks for posting that Jolipapa. My Paternal Grandfather was in the US Army Air Service in France during WW1.
Happy Veterans Day folks!
Nice knives today!

Gary "This one sees a lot of pocket time." It sure would be hard not to drop that one in the pocket, beauty.

I've been out to the Deer Camp for the past ten days. I just viewed 23 pages of spectacular pictures of knives. Well done everyone!!

I carried this one while out hunting.

Happy Veteran's Day (or Armistice Day). I was in the U.S. Army for most of the 70s. Overseas, we got a lot of our news from Armed Forces Radio.
