What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

20151111_093119_zpscuasjey2.jpg

This wonderful 77 is riding along today.

Nice pic Dan. Man, if I look at that pic much more I'm gonna have to go buy one of these...

Ron - that's a wonderful looking lamb foot you're totin' today. Love that one.

I felt old and tired this morning so I decided to slip something even older in my pocket. This E.C. Simmons Keen Kutter fit the bill and improved my mood markedly. I hope all of you had a terrific day. :)

Stephen - Thank you for the compliment! :) That KK is a marvelous knife!

Just under the wire but I have had this one in my pocket today.

P&G - That Huckleberry is a great choice!

Great choice Ron

Sheffield's, old and new, in my pocket today. Have a great day everyone

Jack - You chose well today my friend! :)

Thanks for posting that Jolipapa. My Paternal Grandfather was in the US Army Air Service in France during WW1.
Happy Veterans Day folks!
Nice knives today!
With me today. This one sees a lot of pocket time.

Gary - That is one of my favorites, I know it has to be one of your for sure!! :D

I love the pictures of your surroundings Jolipapa and Jack, always look forward to them. I also always look forward to whatever zany terms GT will use in his multi-comment posts!

I feel like I've been neglecting this one lately so I worked the edge on the strop a little to polish it back up and it's gonna go for a little ride today. (Older pic, rain and gloom outside didn't lend to taking a great one)

Jake - Just an all around terrific knife my friend!:thumbup:

Gus - Nice!!:thumbup::thumbup:

No sir, thank you :)

Here's one for ol' Wooden Wednesday, courtesy of Brett (KBA). Brett, I have not forgotten the coin - I'm just trying to find a decent one, maybe with something else ;)

Those are both marvelous old knives, Ron and Stephen, that warm the cockles of my heart!

Thanks for the fine compliment, my friend! Fantastic canoe!!
...

...Thank you GT. Very nice Buck and fixed blade too !:)
...
...Great choices this week but the awesome stag Buck and the "yeller" Imperial were the two that rang my bell!!! Very nice!!!:thumbup:
Thanks for the kind words, Gev and Primble and Robert. :) Primble, you threw me for a loop at first with your fixed blade comment, since I've told myself I will NOT branch out into fixed blades. But I think you must have mistaken my Cudeman folder with the palmate "Euroblade" for a fixed blade.

Lovely knife GT, don't recall seeing that one before

Thanks, Jack. :) I think my buck stag canoe may have debuted here exactly 4 months ago: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1257789-Stag-Saturday-Let-s-See-Some-Stag!?p=14975746&highlight=GT+Buck#post14975746
You picked a particularly pleasant pair; that slender sleeveboard must be hard to resist!

Lots of really great knives today.
Just under the wire but I have had this one in my pocket today.

Fantastic jigging, P&G!

It is public holiday today and I decided to have a stroll to enjoy the fine weather. On my way between Eiffel tower and Arc de Triomphe, on this commemoration day, I stopped at the United States Square where stands the Memorial to American Volunteers (WW1).
...
That was a touching Veterans' Day tribute, Jolipapa!

Continuing on with my Catt entourage - this is what gets toted today.

Wow, Gary! Jawdropper Alert!! :eek::thumbup:

Happy Veteran's Day (or Armistice Day). I was in the U.S. Army for most of the 70s. Overseas, we got a lot of our news from Armed Forces Radio.

Superb Radio Jack, Dean!

According to Jake, it probably helps that I'm "zany". ;):D

I'm taking a page from your photography book Erik.

Words can not express my love for this knife.

Fantastic knife and pic ! That used to be the one everyone was hunting. ;):)

Great Ancient my friend !:)

I'm new to the traditional knife world. I really like gec just about anything they put out is good by me. But I have really fallen for their bullnose and Bullbuster line along with the viper line.
I'm looking to try a new company does anybody have a suggestion?
Already tried queen case rough rider. Wasn't sure if there was another company I was unaware of.

I believe your knife to be a Kingston ( a collaboration between Ulster and Imperial). Super piece indeed! Thanks for you compliment and I hope all is transformed and transmuted into pure joy from your meeting today;)

Fantastic needle point and knife - just fabulous my friend !!:)

Thank you so much for your kindness, my friend!!:D:D

Ron
Ancient Perfection Sir!!

pistonsandgears - wonderful looking 15 you carried yesterday, and two equally wonderful carries today.

Jack - two excellent examples today, both new and old. The best of both worlds.

Jolipopa - very interesting photos. Thanks for sharing them with us.

Mark - I love that Northfields you're carrying today. Outstanding!

Primble - wonderful photos and knives. I hope you had some luck with the fish today. :) You inspired my carry today as I pocketed a distant cousin to your beautiful Catts which I think you might recognize. :D

Gary - so much to like about that one. I can see why it'd get a lot of pocket time.

Erik - very handsome knife with a hearty and useful looking blade. I'm not familiar with Trestle Pine Knives. Would love to hear your thoughts about it if you care to share.

Dean - great looking Radio Jack.

Trand - terrific teardrop.

Dan - Great looking 77.

Jake - awesome Davison. I think you've just inspired my carry for tomorrow. :)

JSCHENK - I drool every time I see that spring green courthouse whittler. What a beauty!

Gevonovich - wonderfully inspired photo. Made me smile! :)

Luc - beautiful photo and Charlow.

Joe - very classy looking conductor.

SadSappySucker - lovely photo of your presidential.

Ron - thank you! That's a terrific looking ancient barlow your carrying today.

Harry - marvelous stag on those two. I can see why you've chosen to carry them for the past couple weeks.

GT - thank you. Looks like you've got your pockets full with some wonderful knives yourself.

As stated above, Primble inspired my carry choice for today. In addition to the inspiration, I also have to give him credit for the spa treatment and photo he provided for my old dogleg. A special knife for me. Thanks again my friend. :) :D
