What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I had a lot of catching up to do in this thread so I'll just summarize and say that all of your knives are ugly!!!

Carried these two all weekend and the rest of this week/end will be no different.

Awesome photos! Love that first one.

Thank you so much for the compliment and a fine looking knife you chose today!!

That knife sure enough does have a glow to it !:thumbup::)

Thank you gentlemen :)

Congratulations

Very classy

Sincere thanks for your compliment, Jack (although I still wonder what "engine joints" means). :)
Unmitigated exuberance and gratitude for showing off your oxhorn lambsfoot again. Your comment and the photo remind me of an old Motown hit, Temptations I think: "I've got sunshine on a cloudy day ..." :D

Thanks GT, joints are places where parts meet each other (eg where the gaskets are on an engine). That pic was from the 40's, but they still make Stag sealant apparently (eg Wellseal). Great track my friend, I used to have a friend, now deceased, who worked for Motown in the 60's, very interesting guy. Here he is with Marvin Gaye

You have some interesting knives this week Oh Man of Many Pockets! :D Cool little Pen

Very nice Jake

Needed some Charlow Power today!

Slipped my Stag Jack in my pocket again too

I have a great deal to be thankful for, including the many wonderful friends I've made here (despite my too frequent absences). I hope all of you have a wonderful Thanksgiving. :) These two are in my pockets today.

I love that Dunn, Kris!
Here's mine for the day. The Ohta is in my pocket and the Case sheath knife will help with the turkey prep today. It's been on turkey duty for the last 15 years or so.
Happy Thanksgiving folks!

Thanks Gary, John's knife is no slouch either. Nice looking stag on your Case, and a lot great memories too I imagine. Have a great day with family my friend.

We're visiting family here in Arkansas this week, and since we flew here, I had to limit myself on knives (we did check a bag, so at least I'm not knife-less). Decided to bring this pair of #15's with me, Farm Boy and Beer Scout. I figured clip, spey and sheepsfoot was sufficient range of blade shapes for all my Thanksgiving cutting needs :).

Happy Thanksgiving, y'all! Hope everyone has a good one!

After about two months of solid, daily carry this Opinel No. 7 is finally getting broken in! As you can see, I shaved down the handle, did a little carving, burned the handle, and the patina is shaping up after 60 days of daily food prep. Maybe she's finally becoming my knife...

Jack, that is a really cool picture of your friend and Marvin! After seeing that I just had to throw on What's Going On while I prepped some turkey.

Beautiful Case, Steven!

After seeing the couple higos posted recently I figured I would throw mine in the pocket.

My pockets are pretty stuffed today. I decided to throw the Washington HJ in to the mix one last time before it finds its new home, and the opinel is pretty much mandatory when ever there is a lot of food stuff going on.
