Thanks GT! I haven't used it much because I instinctively reach for my Pioneer but the few times I remembered I had it today it did the job very efficiently. I love how slim and light it is but that's also why I kept forgetting I had it on me. I may carry it alone one day if I can get over only having one knife on me.
BTW, that pen knife is
Thanks for the Higo report, Bill, and for the compliment on my LFC pen knife.

It's a small knife; the photo is about 2X "life size".
Thanks GT! I have been away for a few months due to a loss in my family so I haven't really noticed an increase in fixed blades, if there has been surely it wasn't due to me posting my pairs daily

. I am just lucky to have found a carry combination that works very well for me, that I never would have discovered had I not joined the Porch

.
A very handsome (I looked, there is not a better word for "looks awesome" than pulchritudinous

) set you have with you this week!
Thanks, Tom. Great to see you back!
Thanks Gary! Beautiful knives bud and Happy Thanksgiving!!!
Thanks, Robert.
I had a lot of catching up to do in this thread so I'll just summarize and say that
all of your knives are ugly!!!
...

...
Thanks for telling it like it is, Jake!!

How long did it take to get that cool photo??
...
Thanks GT, joints are places where parts meet each other (eg where the gaskets are on an engine). That pic was from the 40's, but they still make Stag sealant apparently (eg Wellseal). Great track my friend, I used to have a friend, now deceased, who worked for Motown in the 60's, very interesting guy. Here he is with Marvin Gaye
You have some interesting knives this week Oh Man of Many Pockets!

Cool little Pen
...Needed some Charlow Power today!
Slipped my Stag Jack in my pocket again too
Thanks, Jack; cool Motown-related photo/story. That LF&C was among the dozen knives Markesharp sent me last spring!

"Man of Many Pockets", eh? No more pockets than usual, but I use them to their full potential!

Couple of very desirable knives for you today!
I have a great deal to be thankful for, including the many wonderful friends I've made here (despite my too frequent absences). I hope all of you have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

These two are in my pockets today.
Amazing knives, as usual, Stephen!
Hope everyone can enjoy a fine meal with family and friends today, these two in elephant ivory are with me today,
Shadow wharncliffe trapper by ABS Master Smith Steve Dunn, Steve's mosaic damascus and engraving, along with a gentlemen's bowie, hand forged 1084 with differential hardening, by the late John White M.S., sheath made to my liking by the one and only, Paul Long
...Happy Thanksgiving everyone
Fantastic ivory, Kris! "99.9% pure!"
HAPPY THANKSGIVING to all my friends here on the porch!

I am truly blessed and I am thankful for each and every single one of the blessings in my life!
Splendid teardrop jack, Ron!
I am grateful for all of you! Each and every one of you! I wish you all a wonderful day
Empire & OVB
Thanks for the well-wishes, Gev. Decidedly delectable duo from the "dark side" you've displayed!!
We're visiting family here in Arkansas this week, and since we flew here, I had to limit myself on knives (we did check a bag, so at least I'm not knife-less). Decided to bring this pair of #15's with me, Farm Boy and Beer Scout. I figured clip, spey and sheepsfoot was sufficient range of blade shapes for all my Thanksgiving cutting needs

.
Happy Thanksgiving, y'all! Hope everyone has a good one!
Couple of superb traveling companions, btb!

After about two months of solid, daily carry this Opinel No. 7 is finally getting broken in! As you can see, I shaved down the handle, did a little carving, burned the handle, and the patina is shaping up after 60 days of daily food prep. Maybe she's finally becoming my knife...
Or you're becoming her human! Nice Opinel, Ben!
As always, GEC #71 with Black Delrin covers
and tagging along everyday is this Buck 055
Couple of classics, ED!
...After seeing the couple higos posted recently I figured I would throw mine in the pocket.
My pockets are pretty stuffed today. I decided to throw the Washington HJ in to the mix one last time before it finds its new home, and the opinel is pretty much mandatory when ever there is a lot of food stuff going on.
Have a great Thanksgiving everyone!
A herd of Higos showing up lately; nice one, Erik!

Is that your Thanksgiving "bird" perched on the Opinel??

Happy Thanksgiving! I went hunting this morning, an old family tradition in my rural, eastern NC family - but I'm the end of the line of hunters in my family. I carried these two Schrades with me today. This evening, for our family dinner at my sister's home, I will carry a much dressier knife - my Case "Primble" 5318. OH
Terrific Thanksgiving trio, OH!
...Beautiful light at the moment
Sam
WOW!!
Oh...well... Sorry!
We don´t celebrate Thanksgiving here in Germany. Not at all. So I didn´t have this important holiday on my radar!
I wish all you guys a great holidays and some nice Thanksgiving feasts
That's OK, Andi! My daughter lives in Spain and they have all kinds of holidays I never heard of!
GT, that scout has a real old style look about it and the bone looks great. Have I seen that before?
...I'm carrying a favorite today (it's my avatar). Beautiful weather here in Ohio.
Thanks, Dean.

I've had the RR scout for quite a while, and I've settled into a 9-week rotation for my knives, so I've posted it before. Your TC is a beauty, but that pocket slip is also incredible!
...Keeping the Higo train going
Another cool Higo, Dan!
...Today I decided to opt for something special as it's dark nearly all the time and you need something to cheer you up.

I like the simplicity of a Barehead Teardrop, Kerry did a fine job for me
Thanks, Will
That's a totally gorgeous knife, Will! I'll bet that really can cheer you up even in the darkest times!:thumbup:
Very nice Will
Richards of Sheffield.
Now that's my kind of jackknife! Nice one, Jack!
My kitchen knives for this week are a couple of Opinels (#6 and #7, pictured here with a couple of MAMs) and a rehandled 2014 Forum knife.
