Thanks, GT. Barry does a fantastic job with his knife slips (I have two from him). Your Forum knife looks great; even better with the new handle!

Oh my! That has got to be the keenest Keen Kutter Barlow I have ever seen! Every bit a masterpiece.

Another of my favorite TCs today.

Try to leave me if you can...I bet you can't do it:cool:

I looked over the bone jigging and glowing bone color of your KK Jack and noticed a strong family resemblance to my KK Barlow. ;):thumbup::D

Thank you Dean. They did indeed get fancy with that release. Your TC is a beauty !:)

My well-loved Primble accompanying my City Knife today. Rain, rain, go away ....

Always like seeing that nicely aged Primble Scout.:thumbup::)

A day of fine wood today, as we are installing a counter top that my father in law made for us. Built completely out of end cut maple and finished in walnut oil. A lot of work went into it, and my father in law only has one arm, pretty impressive. Nothing finer for our kitchen knife edges than end cut maple. I will post a few pics in the lounge ( here ). These two in fine wood are with me today,

Bob Loveless drop point with lignum vitae handles and a Boker lockback with bookmatched, imbuia wood handles

Wow, Kris! You are one fortunate individual. Great countertop and the two knives are just outstanding. I have always loved the shape and proportions of the Loveless drop point knives. Great Pics!

Thanks GT, I only knew Dave Godin in later life (he ran a cinema in Sheffield in the 1980's, but he was a very cool guy. Went out to the States on the HMS Queen Mary in 1962, and had met all sorts of interesting folks, including Marilyn Monroe. He also went to school with Mick Jagger.

Thanks again my friend, looks like you're sorted in the kitchen. Mise en place! ;)
Thanks, Jack; Mr. Godin sounds like a very interesting man!:cool:

GT- it took about 150yrds or so LOL. Me and a buddy were trying to get a quick stalk on video but that deer made it through...it was too small to shoot. That pic is a screen shot from the video. (The deer from the next pic was shot the next day)
...
Thanks for the backstory, Jake. Sounds like you guys had a fine time! :D

Primble, you're deservedly known for your fantastic photos of your amazing knives!:thumbup: Sometimes they leave me punchdrunk! :D

...GT
Thank you for the compliment, Sir! Your selection of friction folders is fantastic!!

Thanks, Gev; I do seem to be drawn to inexpensive foreign folders for some reason. :) That Keen Kutter is downright dreamy!:thumbup:

Super pics again everyone.

Some Northwoods mammoth today.

That's a stunning sleeveboard, Ken! :eek::thumbup:

I thought that looked like Barry's work; I really like that edge lacing he does. Thanks for the compliment on the Forum knife; that was a generous gift from Markesharp. I don't know why he rehandled it or where he got the jigged bone, but it's pretty incredible! (It was even better before I dropped it while coon fingering it during an afternoon walk on an asphalt path and popped out a center pin on one side! :( I'm in the running for king of the knuckleheads!)

My well-loved Primble accompanying my City Knife today. Rain, rain, go away ....

Impressive photo, Tom; I sure admire a lot of your scout knives, including today's Primble!:thumbup:

Ken K.

I like how dark the mammoth is on that fremont Ken :) Much different than the usual mammoth bark I've seen

Another of my favorite TCs today.

Good looking piece Dean, I used to be a big long pull fan but crescent nail nicks have slowly won me over.

Saw a couple of these at the show, beautiful pieces as always Primble, nice punches as well.

mhawg Bökers have really nice carbon blades I agree. Well worth getting some in any collection:thumbup:

Today I decided to opt for something special as it's dark nearly all the time and you need something to cheer you up. I like the simplicity of a Barehead Teardrop, Kerry did a fine job for me :D

Thanks, Will

Will, where have you been hiding this one :O Thanks for sharing the photo of this beautiful Hampton.

Some chocolate bock for me when the days get short in light and need some cheering.
