...Some chocolate bock for me when the days get short in light and need some cheering.
Beautiful wood on your Charlow, Tim!

That looks like a beer I'll have to check out some time.

I was ecstatic today to discover at the grocery store that Leinenkugel Snowdrift Vanilla Porter is back on the shelf for its "seasonal" run.
...Thank you for the compliment GT. My pics of your litter - nice !:thumbup:

...
Thanks, Primble.
Excellent, Jack! I like all the recent attention you've been giving your 2014 Forum knife (and I like the way the shield is inset on yours). And I always admire the appearance of a Jack Black Black Jack!

Stag and Rosewood today:
...
Stag Saturday indeed! That's gorgeous, Primble!

On pocket duty today. Nice knife!
Congrats on acquiring one of the many fine new Forum knives that are rolling out, Gary!

Fantastic photo, Gus! :thumbup::thumbup:
Two knives today. Cloudy here.
If you are wondering about the coin, I'm reading a multi-volume series set in the King George V era. Coin carried to set the mood.
Such splendid jigging on both those knives, Dean! I've been drooling over the stag 83s, but your bone version sure is striking!
Looks like you drew a pair of black aces today, Bill!
#759 from Todd Davison today, R.W. Loveless on my hip
I don't remember where I found the cap lifter, but here is an old ad for Regal Pale
...
Splendid knives (and countertop), Kris! I'm glad you included a brief explanation of the "church key". I was thrown for a loop yesterday when I saw that in your photo instead of one of your usual gorgeous damascus openers!
Many thanks indeed to everybody for your kind comments and communications about my Hampton Teardrop. Kerry made a knife that's shockingly sharp, so much so that he had the humour to enclose a sticking-plaster for me with the knife

Here's the Pile side, not bad eh?
Thanks for a second look, Will; stunning!!:thumbup:
...Thanks GT! I really dig your Sodbuster, nice pic !
Thanks, Tom.

Took that photo on the dock where we vacation in August. Apparently the mayfly hatch was unusually big in the spring, covering the dock and drawing unusually large flocks of seagulls that "fouled the footpath". So the owners installed the rubber "wolf" to try to keep the gulls away; I guess it was mildly successful.
I think there's only one knife I'm totin' this week that I haven't shown yet. It's a relatively-new large (5" closed) Marbles lady leg knife with white bone and stag handles and a scrimshaw owl (don't tell pertinux
