What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Thank you Harry! It's a big favourite of mine from I think 08, the Mark side is incredibly grooved (getting that shield inlet there shows the quality of GEC construction, other prod knives can't match that aspect) whereas the Pile side is more restrained, but it makes for excellence in the hand.

I agree, that's some awesome stag you have on that one Will!

Very impressive duo Kris, Reindeer works to great effect on puukkot in my view. Stag is always best Barehead somehow:thumbup:

Regards, Will

Thank you Will, I appreciate the comment. Both are great knives that I have carried and used for a couple of years now.

Spending the day with my daughter(and loving every minute), in the end I don't want to look back at my life and wish I would've spent more time. These two are with me today,

That fixed blade is a beauty! What blade length and cover material is that? Did it come with a sheath? That's a great belt knife right there

Thank you, and yes it does come with a sheath, Bob made his own high quality sheaths. Robert Waldorf Loveless is deceased(born in 1929 and passed away in 2010), but if you have never heard of him, I would suggest a search. He was one of the most prolific knife makers and designers of our time.

Blade length about 3.75 and about 8.25 overall, handle material is lignum vitae, very hard and durable

I can never seem to take a decent pic of this City Knife, the handle is actually maroon micarta. When I get to 2,000 posts I am going to include it in a GAW. But I am keeping the sheath ;).

Tom
It's a gorgeous picture!

Kris
Now that is a stunning pair! That Loveless sheath is a thing of beauty and looks well maintained:thumbup::thumbup:

Kris a very nice Loveless in a great handle material. There's a tremendous difference in a real Loveless and a "Loveless style" knife, all it takes is handling the real one to tell the difference. I guess Mike Lovett got them as close to Bob's as anyone could for a reasonable cost. Sadly Mike is no longer making knives. Use it and enjoy it, that's what Bob wanted.

Leaving EARL at home and carrying that trusty TC ... :)

EARL will come back to my pocket tomorrow...

LOL!!!

Yes, I did ... and I almost regreted. I suspect that he can be a pretty charming Barlow Knife ... :foot: :o

I must admit that I haven't carried my presidential in almost a week!
Yours is looking as good as ever!

Thanks Erik! I need to put it away in a drawer if I want to carry something else. If I stray for a day it looks at me all sad from my nightstand lol.....what knife/knives have made you stray?

Edit....all I had to do was keep reading, great looking knives Erik
