What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

arizona thanks for the appreciation! That's some legendary patina you've been working up on that 77:D

Thanks too to Gev most kind.

Regards, Will

Thanks Erik! I need to put it away in a drawer if I want to carry something else. If I stray for a day it looks at me all sad from my nightstand lol.....what knife/knives have made you stray?

Edit....all I had to do was keep reading, great looking knives Erik

Thanks and I know the feeling. I typically pick it up at least once as I'm grabbing a knife(or 3) for the morning. I've just really been enjoying the higo lately.

Tim, Gene builds a very nice knife doesn't he

Agreed Jerry! Thank you for all your advice on his work. Gonna get on his lists for another one of these since they're just that nice.

Tim - Thank you, that trapper is pretty much a typical Case from the era! :D
I really like your new EDC:thumbup:

They sure built 'em nice back then. I really do too :) It was knocked out today by this creamy elephant ivory though.

My Menefee drop point is 7-7/8" overall. The blade measures exactly 3.5" with 3" of cutting edge and is 1/8" 154CM, tapered down to roughly 1/32" or .005" per Rick's measurement. The handle is exactly 5/8" at it's thickest spot (center of grip).

It's the perfect size for me as I like a slimmer knife as well. Here's a backside shot to show the swedge which also slims down the blade. The balance point of the knife is just slightly forward from the center of the two pins. When holding the knife, it places that balance point right at the tip of your pointer finger, or at the tip of your middle finger when utilizing the choil. It's a very capable and maneuverable knife and excels at what it was designed to do.

Very very nice. Thank you Jake

Great knives as usual today!

Out of the mailbox, and into the pocket to tide me over until my forum knife arrives :)

That is not only a super fantasticular(©® patent pending 2015 J_Curd) Schrade, but what a FINE Barber's dime. I need to find one with such detail (that I can afford!).

;)

It'll be one of these brutes today :D But which blade style? Stag, Jigged Bone or Smooth? Decisions...at this rate I'll never leave the house! Tempting....:D
