What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Fabulous knife. That's a pattern I'd like to try one day.

Thanks, I have a hard time carrying anything else.

More rotten weather here today I'm afraid :( I hope some of you are getting a bit of sunshine

These two for me today

Nice shot of the Ancient, Jack! It's a cloudy day here too but it could be worse. Just west of us Buffalo, NY broke a 116 year old record for not having any snowfall yet.

Nice choices today Jack !

Catt and Schrade Cut. Co. plus the bird and trout for me today:

Beautiful knives and pics, Primble! I really like that B&T!

One in the pocket and one on the belt for me today.

Thanks for the kind words folks.

. It just so happens that I'll be attending a small get together tomorrow with a handful of knife makers, Tommy will be there :) What a beautiful knife! I'm excited to meet him and to see what he brings.
That sounds like an awesome time, let me know how it goes.

Today is a drop point by R.W. Loveless and a swayback from Todd Davison in Sambar stag. Just polished up the lignum vitae with some beeswax and walnut oil, brought a nice sheen out in the wood.

Today I re-discovered an old Gerber Silver Knight, and slipped it in my pocket. I'll try and post a pic later

Thanks Evan, great looking knife from Rick. I am expecting a call from Rick today and have a beauty of a Menefee Made in the mail.

Kris

The knives are superb as usual and that table top is really looking sweet...wow! Its going to age sooo well:D

Thanks Gev, I think it will age well too. I let my last coat of walnut oil dry for a week and today I will put a coat of wax on it. We have chopped and made dinner on it every night this last week. Have a great weekend my friend.

Kris

My TC doesn't see the light of day enough.

Tom... If that TC doesn't get the pocket time it needs here send it north of the border and I'll take care of the problem. ;)

Menefee for me today:

I made my vow
In last low hours of morning

The "last low hours of morning" time frame was 1910-1920 and probably an old Tidioute piece, I reckon you already knowed that though ! ;):D:D:D

Lookin' pretty spiffy for about a hundred years of duty and has honorably withstood that test of time.:thumbup::)

I'm sure it's a beauty! I'd expect no less if it's on the way to you ;)

Look forward to seeing it! I'm a huge fan of Rick's work.

Thanks man! They are vintage butterscotch micarta, a wonderful material and Rick chose the perfect finish.

I'm a Pittsburgh native and a huge sports fan, so I had to have this one!

Thanks for the nice comments, guys. I've been patiently trying to post one of our traditional lengthy responses for the last hour and keep getting an error. I give up! Have a great day!
