Got this today and it went right in the pocket. A long-desired knife!

Thank you Dean, I'm not usually one for modern materials (although I do love some micarta) but on this one it just seemed to work.
Glad to see that presidential out for use. A perfect knife in my opinion for any occasion.

Thank you very much Luc, that fruitport is one of my favourites. The ones that take the longest to find are some of the most worthwhile.

A Gimp shield it is and that shield was also used on my Hatch Cutlery knife, which Challenge bought out in 1899. The shield is why I purchased the knife to begin with. The shield on my Hatch is quite thin and I was hoping to use the more substantial Challenge shield on the Hatch, until I saw the possibilities of saving the Challenge. Now - what to do about the Hatch ?

Ah I would have never guessed it was also the Gimp shield. Haha time to find another donor
