What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Vic SAK for the dirty work, Massoptier queue de poisson for the fun stuff. That little fishtail slices with no effort and no drag.
Should have taken the picture while it was still light outside.

Fayetteville Knife Company Small Barlow, Fayetteville, N.Y., U.S.A., circa 1880-1911:

Thanks :) Have been lurking more than posting lately. That Fayetteville looks great!

Works been hectic the past few days, and I haven't had the time to snap any picture to contribute.
But at the end of a long hard day I really look forward to going through this thread regardless of whether or not I have anything to contribute.
The presidential has pretty much been my sole pocket knife this week.
I just got done cleaning the days debris out of the joints. I am really tempted to start using a slip again. That gritty feeling in the joints just makes me cringe but unfortunately is inevitable in my line of work. Photo conditions sucked so I decided to mess around with the editor.

I can not wait for the weekend!

Always love seeing your Presidential!

Both of those are nice, but that bottom one is really cool.

Little Lockback rode along to work today.

Very purty Ron !;):D

Beer Scout for me today.

Great Scout Erik ! :thumbup::)

That Fayetteville Barlow is a beauty, Rob. What kind of wood is that?

My unintentional carry today. Somehow this Case CV penknife slipped into my pocket with my Scratted Barlow.

Very nice Dean ! I believe it is Rosewood, but, could be Cocobolo. A bit hard to tell the difference for me on those old woods. :)

The Fayetteville is just splendid. It looked so much darker when i first saw it. The red hues are gorgeous.

It was dirty in that purchase photo Gevo. I cleaned the wood delicately and was rewarded with the richer colors. ;):D

Thanks, Jack!

Hey, I've been calling this a dogleg, but it really has characteristics of a dogleg, a eureka and a gunstock (though with round bolsters).
What would you call this pattern? Help, please!

I definitely see a gunstock as the more prominent pattern/ style.
Beautiful knife regardless of pattern, though!

My companions for yard work today. Hopefully get to use that caplifter after I am done!
