What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

We're dreaming of a white Christmas but it's not looking too good. 65 degrees F right now and an expected high of 50 something tomorrow. At least I won't be out running the snow blower.
Nice knives and pics today!
Have a great day folks!

Beautiful bone on that one!
I'm with you on the funky weather. We are slap in the middle of a monsoon. Plus, they are calling for almost 80 degrees on Saturday.

I've got my Christmas gift that arrived today after some near Post Office Crisis/Confusion yesterday
(Was shown as delivered on tracking at a different time period scan than my carrier comes to our gated community...& no package)
However it is here and with me. Took alot of persuasion on my part but Jake definitely helped me out on this one.

Thing of beauty those hammered pins are.

Something special for the holidays, primitive bone #78.

I love those American Jacks, and that primitive bone is quite the looker too.

Still need to work on that tip edge on my Patriot but it she cuts well and that's what counts… :D

Beautiful pair of micarta you've got there.

So, lately I've really been admiring all the nice and shiny Presidentials being shown around here lately. Well, last night I decided to polish mine up a "little". About an hour later I had it looking almost brand new. Im pretty pleased with the results. It feels like I have a new knife in my pocket, which is always a good feeling.

Thank you Jack and I will take a peek later to see what you came up with. Merry Christmas ! ;):)

Many, many thanks to all involved.

Ken K.

Very nice example Ken !

:Some wonderful stuff there Rob, older knives really do transport you to a different era in mind. AS with coins..you wonder what kind of life and events they've seen.

A particularly fine selection for Christmastime, Rob!

I had the Presidential, oddly enough, on the hike today.

Thank you and Merry Christmas to you Dean ! :)

Running late this evening and there is too many beautiful knives to quote each one so I am going to just say Merry Christmas to each and everyone of my friends here on the porch!:D This Stag 73 has been in my pocket today :)

Just wanted to take a moment to wish all the fine folks on the porch a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday, hoping your New year is Happy, Healthy and Prosperous. As they say in Hungary. Boldog Karácsonyt kívánunk!

Pertinux...I have those same Red Wings Iron Rangers...took me about a year to break those in. Nice knives. Is that a Hummingbird or Dove in your profile pic? Good stuff either way. Happy Holidays.

Thank you again, TLARbb, for the Chrismas Eve gift.
It will be in my pocket today while I'm together with friends and family, and I hope you are having a wonderful holiday, too. Merry Christmas.

This Adolph Blaich stockman will be handling my Christmas cutting chores.

Thanks Primble, it almost reminds me of soft lead that has been peened and hammered in. Alot of depth

Thanks, Sappy, and you are right about Tim's Zulu, it's an absolute stunner!

Thank you Jeff, can't put it down~

Kris, those two are beauties. With that said, that Loveless is truly iconic. There are many collectors and enthusiasts that are envious, I am one. Enjoy your family time today my friend.

Chris

Thanks Chris, I sure appreciate that. I thought a lot of Bob, and this is my way of honoring him. When I see a Loveless or Tony Bose knife, I see a knife that should be in a pocket or on a hip, not in a safe. Your friendship has been one of the best things that I have taken away from Bladeforums, and I truly appreciate it. Custom knives are a big part of my life, and the makers and collectors that I have the privilege of calling friends, well, those relationships will last a lifetime. Have a great day with your family, and I hope everyone can reflect on the good and bad of this year.

Kris

TIM! I don't care what you say...that knife will always be mine haha. I miss it 😭

I know you'll take care of it...Ahhh the memories:

Lizard Skin helped out a lot at the cabin for the past few days. It was nice to enjoy the outdoors and I'm happy to come to work still smelling like a camp fire.
