So, lately I've really been admiring all the nice and shiny Presidentials being shown around here lately. Well, last night I decided to polish mine up a "little". About an hour later I had it looking almost brand new. Im pretty pleased with the results. It feels like I have a new knife in my pocket, which is always a good feeling.

Aw, shucks. I liked the patina you had on that. Seriously, good job. It looks like its ready to go out on the town.

It's the Case/Bose Coffin Jack again today. I love this knife!

Justifiably so. It is a stunningly beautiful knife!

Lizard Skin helped out a lot at the cabin for the past few days. It was nice to enjoy the outdoors and I'm happy to come to work still smelling like a camp fire.

Hope you enjoyed your time there, Jake! I had written up a reply yesterday when you mentioned you were going, but I had posting problems. I have been there; started there on a hike that ended up in PA. Many years ago, but still a good memory. Great knife to camp with!

I pocketed the Presidential again today. An old song lately given how many knives I have to choose from, but I just can't go without it. I'll probably stop babying it and let it get all dirty and funky next year...

Thanks, and the patina had kind of maxed out. It wasn't getting darker, so I figured why not. Plus, it will be all dull and solid grey again before I know it.

Golly gee what a large shield I think it's a great photo Erik and very nicely done by S&M. I like their new logo on the tang as well.

Beautiful! Your photo sells that knife better than the dealer pictures I've seen -- there are some really neat subtleties to that jigging.

Great pics folks, reading through the new posts in this thread never fails to entertain :thumbup: I hope everyone had a very Happy Christmas I seem to have spent most of the past 2 days slaving in the kitchen, and today I'm aching and worn out. The weather is lousy outside again, but my fridge and cupboards are still rammed with provisions, so no need to go out, and with my guests departing shortly, I plan to have a very lazy day! :thumbup:

Hi everyone! Hope Christmas treated everyone well yesterday. I figured I'd just continue carrying Lizard Skin. When stropping nice and lightly using some green compound, it's amazing how sharp CPM-154 can get!
