These three fine knives are with me on this sub zero day,

R.W. Loveless drop point, Mike Zscherny wharncliffe trapper in amber stag and Doug Ponzio damascus, along with a Texas Jack by Tony Bose,#2, in Remington bone. I don't like bone handled knives, but I do make an exception for Remington, Napanoch, or the finest, IMO, Shigeru Tozaki.

My old phone crapped out, so I have a fancy S6 edge now(I despise phones), and I think it takes better pics than my old digital camera.

Have a great day folks.

Great knives and a super pic, Kris! Stay warm, if you can.

So many beautiful knifes and pictures here!
I feel a bit stupid with my simple smartphone pictures, but I hope to get better over the time...

Regards, Daniel

Thanks Gary, I think Mike and Brent's knives could be brothers with that beautiful amber stag!

That is a fine pic Daniel, its not about the quality of the pic, as much as it is about sharing our passion for knives, IMO.

Back from the country, still no snow but -12.5c at one stage, cold enough and the cat has doubled in size due to winter-coat. She's certainly a remorseless hunter of rodents, got two 'presents':D The others she ate on top of her hearty rations...

I like Stag as a material, it has complexity and variety that's all part of the allure, but I've a lot of time for decent Bonestag as well. Carried these yesterday on a freezing hike : Queen and Bark River.

This came today.

Beautiful knife, Charlie! Mike had several knives on display at a show I attended early this year. I think I might have handled that one when browsing his table.

One thing, among many, that I like about Mike's knives is the finish he puts on his blades. Somewhere between satin and polished. Just a wonderful blade finish. Your first picture displays it well.

Very nice knife!

City Knife and Beer Scout for me today, with a fresh coffee stain on my sheath

Great pair, and hopefully the coffee comes out :)

A couple Catts today:

Love the covers on that one!

Nice choices for your hike.

Early arrival at the mailbox today, so into the pocket she goes!

Kris that's a trifecta if I've ever seen one. I haven't seen Mike in a couple of years, he makes a superb knife. The Loveless and Bose speak for themselves. Everyone should handle one of Tony's knives too see how it's supposed to be done.

Thanks Mike Bonestag at its best doesn't try to imitate Stag but takes its cues from it. Your latest arrival looks superb, I like a knife with slanted bolsters, particularly Stag though, most elegant!
