What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Ron - fantastic redbone!
Will - beautiful stag ! My felines would leave my rodent gifts on the doormat. ;):D:D
Jack - very nice knives to end the year with and very pretty pictures !
Lemmy - nice dogleg Cat !!!

I am ending the year with the John Primble ISW Black Stag Crown Jack and the Keen Kutter EO Jack that led the more sheltered life:

Fancy tactical slipjoint keeper. I lost a GEC 22 (probably under/in the couch) earlier this month while getting hot and heavy with a cute girl I met on POF... pants came off and knife fell out. So, this is how I will prevent this from happening in the future.

I am carrying this Kabar jack. It wasn't in the best of shape having been sharpened on a bench grinder it appeared. I spent some time with stones and sandpaper and took out the wayward grind marks and it turned into a very nice, handy pocketknife that I use a good bit even though it hasn't rode (ridden?) in my pocket that often. I keep it handy in my desk drawer for tasks that turn up there. It's been in my pocket for two days now.

Very nice as always. Where do you usually find all your old knives? Knife shows, flea markets? You always seems to find the perfect example of each knife with the best jigging and coloring or do they each undergo primblization?

Those old ones have so much character.

That's nice Charlie Mike, but I don't see how that will prevent the pants from coming off. ;):D

Thank you. I look for examples in the nicest (does not mean mint) condition that I can find. Some need some work to bring out their beauty, but, many do not. The Keen Kutter was near mint when I got it, so nothing to do to it. I do find them at knife shows and antique knife dealers mostly, and some from auctions. :) Patience is key.

Ron, that has got to be one of the nicest beaters that I've ever seen!

Agreed !!! :D:D:D
