#83 Tascosa clip point in Purple Sage

For anyone interested, I just wrote up an overview of my Gerstner International boxes here.

I've always got my Mora Classic No 1, which I'm going to improve a bit pretty soon here. The nasty paint on the handle has to go, and I'm going to refinish it with some BLO. If anyone remembers the little jack knife bladeplay was giving away on national knife day, I've always got that one on me. Lastly, I've got a Schrade boot knife. Stropping a double edged knife is such a pain, but worth it. thinking about getting the larger one, but still on the edge. Get it? Like the edge on a knife? I'll see myself out then.

Today it's been a Case Medium stockman. 3 5/8" closed with clip, pen, and Sheepsfoot blades in CV and chestnut bone...

Always nice to revisit old knives, the Case Barlow is a really nice one with that vertical sawcut it looks like.

My load out for the day. The 7 days a week Opinel + some elephant ivory

The elephant ivory handled custom is so fine !:)

Can't blame you in the slightest for giving it so much pocket time, that '60s-'70s Case red bone is top-notch!

Beautiful Schrade, plenty of work to be done by good American steel.

Sometimes I just get lost fonding a jigged Case, even if I've opened it to cut something. A sort of knife-daydreaming trance. :D Very nice stockman!

Kicked around the house mostly so the green Case tuxedo with sheep/wharnie sufficed for most of the day. Had the appa Barlow in the watch pocket as per usual and the CFK in the lefty sheath in case a full tang was needed (it wasn't -- it just sat in its leather womb staying cozy and warm for our "brisk" 60º F day :p).

Excuse the quality, Flickr seemed to be having server problems saving some of the touch-ups to eliminate glare or fix contrast issues.

Thank you Jack, indeed a frosty day. Hope you enjoyed the Revenant, really well done and with true grit.

Nice set-up, and that's some interesting leather-work you have there

Three great-looking knives

Slipping these two in my pocket today
