That's a fine-looking congress, Randy, with a rather unique blade combo, I think!! I don't recall seeing congress knives with one large and 3 small blades. That RR red is very vibrant! Cool knife!
Both of those knives are complete knockouts, Tsar!!

Tsar Much appreciate your words on my Forum Knife.
I'm really delighted with it and the pile side is no horror either...Fingerprint grain
Thanks, Will
Thanks for the shot of the pile side, Will; I'm delighted just seeing a pic of it again! To say that it "is no horror either" is an understatement of the highest magnitude!
...
Gary - Thank you!

Lovely bone as usual my friend! Don't be too hard on yourself, just
BUY SOME EBONY!!!
I am still under the weather so this old Schrade Cut. Co. should handle anything around the house today!
Thanks, Ron.

You're right, I should clean up my act and get some ebony!

Kinda been stalking an ebony canoe with the same birthday as me! Hope you're starting to feel better; that Schrade looks like good medicine.
Camillus #69 Slim Stockman and Schrade 33OT Jack.
...
...
Couple of splendid knives, Bloefield! Is that Camillus totally unused???

How does it compare, size and shape-wise, to the 61OT you recently posted?
A newly arrived WLST (it's my first) getting some pocket time today.

...
Congrats on the new 25, Mac! When I see those WLSTs, I usually think "little knife with big heart"!
Taking to the high seas today
Faultless knife and fantastic lanyard, Jeff!
Found this old gem and tuned it up! The blades took a razor edge and it still has terrific snap!
Gem is right, Ernie!! That French ivory shadow pen is SUCH a winner!
...
Felt like some blue today

.
That's some VIVID blue on your Farmer, Tom! I have to start prioritizing all my knife wants and budgeting to come up with an Alox rainbow!
Thanks,
GT. Natural lighting usually partly cloudy sunlight filtered through my blinds; nothing special.
I like the bone on that RR Barlow!...
I'm having soup for lunch today; I probably won't drop this soupbone in it though.
Thanks for the lighting tips, Dean. Rough Rider's amber jigged bone is very satisfactory, IMHO. Not nearly as distinctive as the beautiful pale soupbone you have, however!
...
I have this little Boker with me today. I like to CE & CF this one.
Super stylish little Boker, Gary!
...
My two today are a Grohmann in stag and a Swissbuck Taskmate I.
Have a great day all!
Ken K.
Intriguing pair, Ken!

I've heard of SwissBucks, but know nothing about them. That stag Grohmann is striking!
Great photo, Sarah! My color sense is not to be trusted, but FWIW I think the blues and browns of the knives and crockery complement one another quite grandly!
...
Thank you GT

As for the Jolly Roger, you never know when you might have trouble with the neighbours!

I bought the flag for a mutual friend, but figured I could get a pic out of it!

Thanks for the pirate's tale, Jack!
...
I already know RR makes a nice medium Barlow, but I really dig that fisherman too. I ordered an acorn-shielded dogbone jack today, maybe I'll leverage the wonderful low prices of RR to help bide my time until I can budget a proper amount for knives in the future (aside from the money I'm already putting aside in hopes that Charlie's dynamic leadership takes us to the promised land of a '16 forum knife

).
...
Went a little nuts on carries today -- I pocketed Mac and the week's EDC Challenge knife, then on the way out of the house I snatched not one but two Barlows to add to the pile. I guess I'm testing the notion that if everything's better with a Barlow, then it must be twice as good with
two.

...
Congrats on the RR dogbone jack, Tsar!

Can you provide more info on the Old Hickory Barlow??
Wonderful carries and pictures today everyone!
Tremendous trio, Gev! Would you be so kind as to identify the knives, so this old man can advance his education?
Jack, your Jolly Roger photo made me realize that I've got a few pirate knives close at hand, too. If I were sailing the high seas in search of booty and plunder, scaling the mizzen-mast and swilling grog in the fo'csle, I imagine that these two would be likely on my person, the smaller one in the pocket of my muslin trousers or perhaps my calico waistcoat, and the large navaja probably worn at the waist, tucked into my colorful silk sash, at the ready in the inevitable event of a quarrel springing up as a result of someone's cheating at bones.
Rousing tale, puukkoman!

(Am I supposed to have rich fantasies like this about each of my knives??

)
My kitchen knives this week are holdovers from last week's pocket carries.
