This one hadn't seen much pocket time lately, so I brought it out

lambertiana,

I really like this 'Furtaker' Equal End pattern of yours. With the hi-carbon steel, picked bone and that very cool and unique Beaver shield to top it all off, really makes this, one very outstanding slipjoint!.

Dropped this old Easy Open - Harness Jack into my watch pocket this morning..

Hi Anthony,
I think lambertiana furtaker is actually jigged bubinga. Really nice though.

I put my Henkels stockman in my pocket today but my Burnt Stag #48 screamed at me as I passed by and came along too.

Gary,

I was talking with Jerry last night and telling him how much you're loving your "combo". He enjoyed hearing about it.

I couldn't be happier with these Elliott. Thanks for the kind words.

By the way, that Halfrich Shadow Winchester of yours is one fine looking knife!

Its a little early for a drink, but the occasion is fitting for a single shot. Got my Queen bear head at this moment. :)

Yesterday and today, but this is the yesterday picture. I was using it to ear-mark calves.

I hadn't carried this one in a long time, and when I saw this morning I couldn't leave it home again.

I wish they were all made this well

Nice pic, Stu. There is something special about those flush joints. I only wish they had put a small radius on the bottom corner of the tang so the pull would start easier.

Carrying my Tidioute dog leg jack and a nice 1976 Case mini copperhead that I picked up at a flea market over the weekend.

Thanks, and I agree in most cases where the cut is squared off like this one, they can be a little rough feeling when opening/closing, but this one does not suffer from that. The springs on this one are pretty light for GEC, and wouldn't rate any higher than a 5, maybe 6 by anyone's pull scale.

Taking my new Case Texas Jack CV for a spin. Since it was so inexpensive the first thing I did was to put a forced patina on the blades. Right after that I cut up some plastic packaging around a new shower fixture. Of course that took the shaving sharp edge right off the CV steel. Next up is to scrotch brite the bolsters for a brushed finish. The great thing about the low price of this knife is I really feel OK about modifications and hard use.

Fine pictures of a clearly well-struck knife. Shows off that square-end construction very neatly indeed, thank you:thumbup:

Last week I got my second GEC 56 Dogleg Barehead. This one is in Amber Bone Tidioute and I'm so pleased with this knife. Been using it as a kitchen knife to bring on patina. Excellent finish, NO gaps, blade play, rough edges or anything annoying at all. Worth every penny, hurrah!:D

I don't have a single shot of this one but it the second from the bottom. GEC 62 in raisin jig bone.

I don't care which one of those you are carrying today tomsch, you are carrying a nice knife whatever you choose.

I went with both the previously pictured Scout, and a Case Chestnut CV Swayback Jack today
