What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Nice knives today everyone...at home dog sitting with Buddy Boy, my pal is having a tough time but still wagging his tail. One very tough old Boy:thumbup:

This #56 clad in ebony with a very work orientated blade;)

Great knives those 56 with a demi-Hawkbill, surprisingly useful I find mine to be. Wonderful box opener!

Thanks, Will

Mr. Jack - that is a fine old C. Johnson knife ! Are the bolsters brass or just high nickel content ?:thumbup::)

Mighty fine indeed ! :thumbup::)

Liking the Tom Cat :D - question- what was the original color of that TC ?:)

Outstanding Barlow Mr. Primble !!!!
Have not been into Burlington since Monday to check on the Car On The Lake. I almost sent your money in for a ticket for July 4 , just like you almost requested.

I did the same thing to my one arm 15, was a neat feature but you can't beat a good looking clip point

The one arm has some fine character, similar to an old knife in fine condition.:)

Mighty fine indeed!

I agree Will, lately I've been gravitating to pruner, sheepfoot, coping and like blades for their utility.

Indeed it does ;)

Great looking 56 Paul, hope Buddy is resting up and doing alright.

Thanks Tim, my boy is looking pretty darn tired. Nanc and I know the call has to be made soon. Such a hard call to make as he's so loyal we feel that he actually feels he has to stick around and protect us. He's a wonderful friend.

Great looking knife Paul !!!!

Thank you very much Harry, that feeling always stays with you as fond memories. We've done it for our other dogs but Buddy possesses a LARGE part of this old Mans heart. Gonna be tough but he deserves not to suffer. I will not allow him to suffer.

Mighty fine indeed!Paul
Prayers for Buddy Boy! Give him some loving for me:thumbup:

Thank you Gev, it's all about lovin and goodbyes tonight. I thought it fitting that we are watching NOTRE DAME basketball together one last time as they play Wake Forest. Every time in the past my son's and I would leap into the air cheering and Buddy accompanied us with his trademark howl....clearly, he's an IRISH fan;):)

Thanks Primble! I'd be lying if I'd say your inspirations weren't in mind with my desired outcome on that one.

Paul - prayers are with you my friend. Dogs > people...for better or worse.

Photo is with the flash because we all lost power around here. Thanks storm.

The green bone still looks nice. I was so happy to get this one on the exchange

Edit: sorry that Spydiehole photo bombed that pic to moon y'all. :sneakiness:
