Just sharpened up this little Camillus Remington. The size of a Buck 305, but with 3 blades!

I am such a fan of green covers. I wish we would see more current productions in green sawcut.
Thanks for the kind words about that swayback jack, jrawk, Steve, and Dean.
jrawk, that’s a cool pic, but why is the tang stamp reversed? (Is the person in the driver’s or the passenger seat?)
GT - you are on to it. The hint is the rear view mirror... I mirrored the photo in editing software, otherwise "Ranger" would be backwards from inside the cab, and so, yes, I am actually sitting in the drivers seat. and thus the tang stamp is backwards. ;)

Imperial serpentine jack, 3 1/8", also came with my wife; she got it from her Dad sometime in the late 70s, probably, and gave it to me one afternoon in January 2014. I enjoyed cleaning it up, decided to start carrying a knife again after about 45 years of not doing so, and started down the "road to ruin":

Love the lined bolsters on that imperial. Nice job cleaning it up.

Recycled photo of my 2015 BF Knife. It continues to gain more and more pocket time.

I've been toting my John Lloyd Dogleg Jack for 10 weeks straight now. 10 weeks! It's a personal record.:D

Tom, that white Beer Scout looks prime! How’d your experiment pairing it with a modern folder go?

Pulchritudinous pair, Tom! I read about knives here, of course, but I rarely have the chance to actually TALK about knives; how is "camels" pronounced? Does it sound more like "Camel Lust" (accent on first syllable) or roughly rhyme with "vanillas" (accent on second syllable)?

Another SAK clone, one of a set of 6 knives/multitools that my wife got me for a different Christmas.

Thanks GT! That SAK clone really caught my eye, A+

The experiment went better than expected, it was certainly convenient. I may do more of that in the summer. When active outside a leather pocket sheath can get a little hot and absorb sweat. That depends entirely on whether or not a custom I have on order works out, a fixed blade 6 1/4 inches total length with a horizontal leather sheath. :)

I have always heard Camillus pronounced like this: ka-MILL-us, like "vanillas", hopefully someone can confirm if this is correct?

Haven't carried my Harvester in a while, correcting that today :).

Stag Flight today:D

Schatt Keystone Mini Barlow and Forum Knife 14 go well together. One stainless and small, one carbon and medium sized. The diminutive Schatt I prefer to the GEC 18 Coyote as this has a longer more useful blade and the thick Stag handles enhance grip, the Coyote's thin skimpy scales don't do it too many favours in my book at least.

Regards, Will

I don't think I'll ever get over how beautiful that knife is... Love seeing how it wears with time!

I've got my do-it-all companion #18 with me today. This thing really is on Peanut level of usefulness and everyday pocketability.

Love thise wood scales

For the vast majority of tasks it doesn't have to be big, just sharp! I love straight edge blades - Coping, Wharnie, Sheepfoot - they're easy to sharpen and they're best for detailed draw cuts.

Today I helped a friend to rescue his wifi connection and other small computing jobs. As a reward he gave me these two 11cm Mauser scout knives.
One is NOS, the other has seen very light use, but has lost his saw protection. They remained in their boxes for years and will need some tlc to be fully usable. Amazingly both were made by Victorinox (# Bonpertuis French steel) but are 2cm larger than usual SAKs.
BTW, the blades are dull as I never seen!
