Picked these 2 up yesterday when we were out and about getting cheese in Broadhead and have been carrying them today .

Congrats on your "new" knives, Harry! They look good!
...
Nice nostalgia photos and journey down memory lane, GT.
Thanks, Dean.

I enjoyed your "disclaimer"!
Thanks
Gary, I appreciate the kind words. That Blue Grass is a fine looking Barlow!
Thanks, Ron.
Absotively! Nothing ridiculous about it. I am not as organized as you, but I choose a hard-working knife I don't mind getting messy, a knife to keep clean for food, a tiny knife for delicate detail work, and a cool vintage knife for style and light use. That's not obsessive, is it?
I'm the wrong person to ask about obsessiveness; I'm too busy trying to distinguish between "obsessive" and "compulsive" to answer your question.

I think your choice of what to carry is actually more effective than mine. You carry knives chosen for specific tasks, but I just have random representatives of various patterns and when faced with a cutting task, I still face the decision problem of which of my several knives to use.

GT
Great knives and stories... That makes them even more special!! I still have my original Letterman my wife sent me when I deployed to Desert Storm. Leather pouch.
Thanks, Mitch.

You should sneak a pic of your Leatherman in here some day.
...
GT - you are on to it. The hint is the rear view mirror... I mirrored the photo in editing software, otherwise "Ranger" would be backwards from inside the cab, and so, yes, I am actually sitting in the drivers seat. and thus the tang stamp is backwards.
Love the lined bolsters on that imperial. Nice job cleaning it up.
Recycled photo of my 2015 BF Knife. It continues to gain more and more pocket time.
Thanks for the photo explanation, jrawk, and for the Imperial compliments.

Those 2015 Forum knives look better all the time; I think that's a great blade combination.
What a day to take off from work!
Excellent photo, Macchina (as usual)!

Many of your photos remind me of bogs/marshes I've driven through in Northern Michigan. Do you hang out in the top of Michigan or Minnesota or somewhere like that?
Thanks
GT! That SAK clone really caught my eye, A+
The experiment went better than expected, it was certainly convenient. I
may do more of that in the summer. When active outside a leather pocket sheath can get a little hot and absorb sweat. That depends entirely on whether or not a custom I have on order works out, a fixed blade 6 1/4 inches total length with a horizontal leather sheath.
I have always heard Camillus pronounced like this: ka-MILL-us, like "vanillas", hopefully someone can confirm if this is correct?
Haven't carried my Harvester in a while, correcting that today

.
Thanks for the replies, Tom.

Any of your combos involving the orange Alox add some cheer to the day!
Stag Flight today

...
Regards, Will
Superb stag, Will; your 2014 Forum knife is maturing very attractively!
Stupendous!
Sumptuous choice, Gev!
Today I was totin' this Northfield 77 Barlow
Very stylish, Ron!
Two "John's" today, Lloyd and Primble.
And a striking pair of Johns they are, Tom!
Apologies for my long absence friends - certainly the longest since I first started posting here

As some of you know, I've been laid low with sciatica over the past few weeks. I'm still sore, and it's going to take me a long while to catch up, but I've been carrying my Radio Jack over the past couple of weeks, really love this knife

Welcome back, Jack; I hope your improvement is significant each day!

Smashing Radio Jack!

Strawberry Fields Forever
What a sublime knife, Gev; the blade, the handles, the lanyard are all sensational!:thumbup:
This week I'm carrying the following knives (among others).
A Rough Rider sowbelly stockman:
A Rough Rider gunstock-check canoe (thanks, Will):
An Imperial serpentine jack (thanks, Dave):
