Sorry to hear of your father in law's passing, Glenn. My wife lost her dad some years ago and it's hard on the whole family.

Thanks for all the great posts, guys and gals. I'm having trouble finding time to post here everyday, after reading every post in this sub-forum, but this is one of my favorite threads and I do appreciate seeing all of your posts here.

I'm carrying my small Rounder today, like I do many days. Not a new pic.

Very nice everyone!

Terrific pair of pairs rockgolfer.

Great knife W.M.B. . You inspired me to carry this J. Askham & Son, Sheffield, for Stag Saturday today.

Have a good one!

I would say killer, but it could get misconstrued:eek::D

There are always a host of interesting knives to look at on the Forum, never any shortage of inspiration, but sometimes and very rarely, a knife casts a shadow of magnificence over everything else. This is undoubtedly one of them Look at the Stag from another time, the fantastic proportions, small Rat-Tail bolster, having a lockback function and then there's the blade. A real 'Spear' with sabre grind giving it the Stabber Jack look..... Really beautiful item, congratulations

Glenn Sad to hear of your misfortune but very heartening to hear that you could carry a tool to remember your father-in-law by. We would all be honoured to think that our friends and dearest could remember us in such an apt and personal way.:)

Thanks, Will

"That single blade trapper is tempting, but I have already lost my internal war and pulled the trigger on a single blade Sowbelly in black g10."

The above got me looking and pulled the trigger on both a G10 SB Sowbelly and a SB Wharncliffe Mini Trapper at prices I couldn't resist.........

As usual more than enough to list in my pockets.

Glenn , You are in my thoughts.

Terrific pictures all!

Thank you Gev, Gary, W.M.B., Jack and Will for your kind comments on my Askham knife.

I'm very sorry for your loss Glenn.

Great knives Peregrin and pistosandgears.

Today it's a Case Seahorse Whittler and a Vic Electrician.

Have a nice evening everyone!

I gave this one a less polished look. Took the shine off of the bolster and used 800 grit on the blade.

I like the CASE Seahorse XX Whittler Ken:thumbup:

I'm carrying this Dark Cranberry bone #38, love this frame and all it's variations. My Ivory fish barlow in watch pocket as well. Just took a quick picture while assembling furniture to put out on the display floor.

Absolutely amazing knives, everyone, so very much fantastic old and new stag to ogle this weekend.

I am carrying this WH Morley in honor of my father-in-law, who passed away today down in Florida with his daughters by his side. This knife was in his tool chest, and is well used. He didn't really carry a knife on a regular basis, so I am treasuring it. I am glad that he is at peace and not suffering anymore.

My deepest sympathies to you and your family for your loss, Glenn. It is nice that you have a touchstone such as that wonderful Morley, at least.

The above got me looking and pulled the trigger on both a G10 SB Sowbelly and a SB Wharncliffe Mini Trapper at prices I couldn't resist.........

I really don't think I can hold out much longer on that barnboard bone sowbelly, and this is after I spent waaaay too much on knives this week (another 'yote is inbound, my fourth, this one in OD micarta -- I think it's a sickness :D :o).

For your consideration, while enjoying a Synthetic Sunday sunset:

Have a great week, everyone!
