What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Old school 1911-1912 Union Knifeworks Moose with early 1900s locking pliers, this knife begs to be used, it just loves to cut and the brown jigged bone looks so rich and even feels warm in your hand.

After putting this together the other day as a usable version of my similarly accessoried Colonial Forest Master that's away in it's box I had to carry my 1988 Case Utility/Scout with a 10X loupe, this was actually a fun knife to play around with. Every time I cut something I looked at it under the loupe, I studied the edge of the spear blade in great detail ;) :)

I like that I can give it a little lovin' when I clean it, what's the point of usin' a 100 year old knife if ya can't clean it? The only thing that I can get shiny is the brass liners and pins, everything else is iron/steel :)

Long day, hanging out with my daughter tonight, these two by Tim Steingass and Johnny Stout are with me

Wow. That's a really interesting knife! Going to have to look this one up as it looks like a lock back ... Almost...

If I could share that pizza with you Cory I would have... :D

Whoa! Very nice Paul. A Ying and Yang both ways.

I'm pretty sure that is the recently released brown snakeskin acrylic.

- thank you, sir  Yes, there are some real nice snakeskin patterns around - some of the micarta ones are pretty amazing too :)

A foray into the garden today will see this one...

Need to find a better way to secure the leather to the handle but works out pretty good.
That's pretty cool, very simple and useful. Good thinking!
