This tiny Böker lockback in Stag merits an outing

Someone in another thread had mentioned that they hadn't seen Great Eastern use the patriot acrylic and etch for a while. Well mine doesn't have the etch but I was prompted to lift the acrylic none the less;

Thanks for the kind words GT. Yes, that's the same model as you won my friend, Wright's call it a 'Senator' for some reason. I'm glad you're liking yours. Everyone needs a Lambsfoot! ;) :D That's an interesting-looking Stockman
I found a few strokes on the bottom of a coffee mug did a remarkable job of refreshing the edge of the Lambsfoot blade this weekend, and slicing some apple, peppers, grapes, and banana for my Sunday oatmeal added a surprising amount of patina to the “Senator”. Thanks for the diplomatic comment on my Marbles stockman! :D I really like the design of that knife, but the “etched Damascus” blades are unique in my collection of knives!

…Look what I carried yesterday:D

Good-looking Aitor, Gev!

Thank you! I love this river, a favorite place of mine. The river winds through miles of deciduous forest in 3 separate branches before arriving at this point. By then it has had hundreds of tons of leaves, logs, and organic matter steeping in the water. We call the water here "tea-stained" and it often varies from perfectly clear in the summer to 2feet of visibility in the Autumn.

Here is a picture of a spring that feeds into one of the three branches of the river. As you can, out comes from a very fertile land and has color strait from the ground:

Thanks for the additional info! :)

Using an older pic here, but carrying one of my favorites.

What a champion congress, Jeff!

Thanks, GT. The Sodbuster Jr. has claimed my pocket again. I really like the thin profile of this one, it makes for a comfortable summer carry.

Wow, you really jump-started the patina on your SBJ already!

Yin yang combo for me today.

Charismatic combo, Tom; you've created a real yin-yang yen!:p

I seem to have come down with the patina bug, despite my preference for stainless.

Looks like a fairly serious infection, scrteened porch; that's some irresistible iridescence. The patina and jaundiced handles sure look good together!

Here are some more of the knives in this week's schedule:

Yes, it's good steel, and easy to maintain I think :) Unfortunately, today's Sheffield manufacturers are clueless when it comes to naming patterns! :D Your Stockman was of genuine interest to me my friend :)

A pair from Jerry Halfrich for me today. The sheath was made by Paul Long.

That's a really nice Jack Russell, Gary. The stag looks real smooth for the hand yet has plenty of character.

Thanks, Jake. There's no hot spots on the handle and it's real comfortable to use. I like the jimping Jerry's done on the spine and also the grip side of the ricasso. Makes for a very secure grip.

Carried these 2 to the YMCA and then coffee with friends .

Then back to my dailey carry at home . ( old pictures )

Thanks GT! I tried to reverse the yin yang this morning :). Cool Crimson Cadet sir

A.G. Russell premium scout riding with my city knife today.

Nice stag on that one, Will. I've always appreciated the size and design of the little Solingen made Boker.

Most kind Gary. It's an appealing knife for sure and comes in useful. Having thick slabs always helps a tiny knife in my experience.

Thanks, Will
