What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Enjoying the evening with my ladies, these two are with me

Tony Bose Zulu fixed in ATS 34 and stag along with a Texas jack by Tony. Larry Parsons is making me a nice sheath in elephant for the Zulu, should be a real beauty.

Very nice, Kris. I wish I'd seen that one sooner myself. ☺Congrats!

Thank you gentlemen, we use the heck out of our other Bose Zulu that Rick handled, laser like paring knife. Larry has made me some of my finest sheaths, and I look forward to this next one.

Also carrying the Abbeydale Jack ;)

I propose that henceforth Jack himself be known as "Abbeydale Jack", then the jack may be christened as "the Abbeydale Special".

Is that beauty #4? If so, I've got the very next one to roll off the line right here with me. :)

Well it being Wednesday, how about some Ebony.:D

That is one lovely knife. That Abbeydale Jack fella's real generous! :D

Wednesday's grainy goodness -- the big Puma half-whittler (4 3/8" long!) just arrived this week, my first of the marque, and it might not be pretty but it's sturdy and ergonomic and plenty useful:

Cigar Opinel

Mutilated Opinel #6 I made yesterday.
Dropped the blade to spear and shaped the handle, then burned it.

Really the thing that bothered me most in Opinels is the end of the handle.

Was blown away when you first showed me this one bud, came out beautifully :)

You can't really go wrong with an opinel can you :)

Nicely done Mod AL - I have always like the swell and lip at the end of an opinel but I like seeing the mods people make to them :)

I have a Boker today, gifted by the afore-quoted European forumite. This congress seems to get a little blade rub (probably just my technique, I don't baby my knives) but the bone is as good as any I've seen and I love their carbon steel.

GT: belated thanks to your comments. My mother is doing great for turning 82.

and I forget who wanted to know about the Bikini Blond Lager...refreshing light lager flavor, not strongly hopped or bitter, which is great for after being in salt water. I think Cascade hops.

Guestwho101...nice viper, decdided to carry mine for the first time, along with the fishbarlow

along the river hike. Went thru some good woods not bogged by springs

Nice fish Barlow who makes them?

LOL! I'd be Ecclesall Jack (a different area of Sheffield) ;) :D

Nice selection there my friend :)

Very nice Will

Good job

Nice Boker Paul

Howarth Slim Jack for me today, this one sharpened up real quick

Interesting mod. It looks good. I especially like the color of the handle. Be interesting to see the shape of it from a couple different angles; is it perfectly round? (It looks like it, and you called it a "cigar" so I assume it is, but it's hard to know for sure.)

I would also be interested in some more photos. I think I'll order a 7 or 8 and try something like that.
