What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Great knife from Rick as he continues to improve in all the areas of knife making. A great choice Elliott, I just know you had a hand in design. Glad you now have it in hand.
Jim

I've had this one for quite a while now, Jim. Yeah, my hand in the design was to ask Rick to get Tony Bose's pattern for the "Eureka", bump it up in size to 3.75" closed and drop a modified wharncliffe in as opposed to the standard "spear" blade. Yep, sure was a lot of heavy lifting on my end of the deal. :p

(Fortunately, Rick really came to like this pattern so it was time well spent.)

Might have to add this pattern to my standing orders with Rick. Job well done Elliott.

I'm sitting in the Atlanta airport with no edc. Gotta love travelling. I do have a Erickson SBJ in my checked bag. It kept me company in Santa Fe the past week.

Love these Buck knives.

I like that Dowell Jason, the clip blade looks nice and fat like a LC. I'm carrying my Canal Street "Pinch" today but I'm going to have to send it in for service. The blade sits way too close to the liner and actually hits it if I allow the spring to carry the knife closed. I hope they can do it without messing up the scales, if not I'll probably just deal.

Today: Case Swayback Jack Chestnutbone CV. I had BM 930 Kulgera with me too but only knife I used today to unpack and destroy cardboard was SBJ. That is maginificent little knife. Its joy to use and disapears into your pocket... and its enough small not to make disturbed faces around you when you use it :D

I don't always wear bluejeans, but when I do I prefer to carry this:

Why, that must make you the most interesting man in the world...right after Rick and his fellow Sooners! :D

Good looking knife, Stu.

Thank you sir.

I forgot to add that when I carry a larger knife I usually like to slip something a little less noticeable in the watch pocket. Today it's a Ruger (Case) Pocket Hunter in (not the prettiest) Burnt Stag and SS blades. Crazy sharp little bugger.

I've still been carrying my case large amber bone stockman. I don't know what it is about that knife but it is currently my favorite carry knife.

It's Friday! R. Bose Wharncliffe Trapper......
