I posted this in the "elusive schrade" thread but with the glitches from yesterday it never moved up?

This Schrade Walden 2OT, Augie posted the one that eluded him and it inspired my search:o Full, solid blades with no play whatsoever, wonderful covers and coined liners:thumbup:

Just had to bump this over to the new page!
One of my Grails Paul - and I know yours so well done my friend! - that example is just superb!!!!

It takes a courageous man that I envy to put an edge on a stunning knife like that and slip it in the pocket - I on the other hand would wrap it in Silk lol - ( please dont let this comment start off the forever burning debate of to carry or not )

I wanted to post this (in my pocket for 2 days) yesterday but the site was down. First damascus for me!

Gorgeous knife Jeff!
Raindrop damascus I think is the best looking pattern out there.

We had such a wet winter here that it really curtailed my hiking activities. The weather still isn’t great, but Spring seems to be here at last! Heading out for a walk early tomorrow, and just getting my bits and pieces together. I have these three set aside. Have a great weekend everyone

Hopefully that summer weather starts makes its way towards you JB.
Great looking trio there. Whats that fixed blade you have there? Looks like an Enzo variant. I like it!

Indeed. She's a beauty!

Relaxing after work with my #71 in 01 steel. Really wish GEC had some more offerings in 01.

Cheers Jack, I'm hoping it will go well... Tempers can run high between Claire and her folks sometimes ....

Wishing you smooth sailing my friend

Great line-up!

Real fine carries and pics, Jack! The lamb is outstanding and i bet you had a great time. Enjoy the hike:thumbup::thumbup:

That is an absolute corker of a lambsfoot. Love the handles, F&F looks great. Just leave some knives in Sheffield for the rest of us! :D

Awesome picture. That knife looks well-loved! The O1 versions were a really cool diversion from the norm. I wish they'd bring them back.

What a mess lately: can't access and now multiple postings...let's hope this makes it:rolleyes:

Ron I'm telling you, that Dark Wood Gem is superb. Looks like Jet it's so sleek. I'm keeping a keen-eye out for one, need the set you see. In the meantime, you can send me yours for 'assessment' :D:D

It'll be my Canal St Forum Knife for me today, I don't dare try posting a pic as I think the forum still has problems. all I can add about the knife is that it has amazing whorls.

OK let's 'risk' it:D

Will - Thanks, it is really a Gem! The picture does it no justice. I bought it on the exchange and I would be embarrassed to say how little I paid for it. That forum knife does have some remarkable Bocote my friend! :D

Hope there aren't too many broken PCs lying around today ;) Maybe, one day day in the future, BF will function like other forums

Thanks Ron, that's some stellar darkness my friend :)

I had a good visit to Arthur Wright & Son yesterday. John Maleham, the gaffer there, very kindly showed me around, and I came back with a number of nice knives, including this Lambsfoot in a special grade of buffalo. Fit and finish are superb :)

Jack - Thanks my friend. It looks like you had a very good visit. That horn is fantastic!:D

Gev - Bring um on! Mayo and some fresh bread, Oh my, a personal favorite. :D Lovely knife also.;)

Well I hope I got all my duplicate posts removed from the other day. When I return home this afternoon I should have a very special mail delivery waiting on me! I can hardly wait.:D I have this OO 73 in my pocket last night and again today, it should hold me over until I get home. :)

Jack Black has inspired me to carry my lambfoot today.

And because for some reason I feel unprepared and underknifed without an awl, my Case stockman

Rocking this friction folder I just made this week my first try at knife making!

That's your first try!?! I'm impressed, and can't imagine what you'll do after a bit of practice. :p
