I wanted to post this (in my pocket for 2 days) yesterday but the site was down. First damascus for me!

Thank you for a great video and the look at that beauty. Very interesting!!! Super, Jeff.

We had such a wet winter here that it really curtailed my hiking activities. The weather still isn’t great, but Spring seems to be here at last! Heading out for a walk early tomorrow, and just getting my bits and pieces together. I have these three set aside. Have a great weekend everyone

Real fine carries and pics, Jack! The lamb is outstanding and i bet you had a great time. Enjoy the hike:thumbup::thumbup:

Congratulations Tyler! How are you going to celebrate?

Well we have arrived at the in-laws in the rolling hills of County Down. Claire reunited our son with his maternal grandparents while I walked the dog who had to endure another full day of car travel again. Hay bailing going on in the background.

Paul

Splendid picture, Paul! Hope you have a wonderful time:D

My #25 stag enjoying the ghost town of Bodoe, California. It would have fit in a cowboys pocket perfectly.

Out of the box and 'in me pocket'
This S&M Grand Daddy Barlow blade is as large as the 98 Whitler. I'll post a comparison later.

From that comparison it looks like a similar situation between my big Russell Barlow and the jumbo Congress. Lengthwise they're about the same, the blades on the Congress are shorter than the Barlow's big clip but the Congress is significantly heavier and thicker by virtue of the four blades vs. one on the Russell.

I just wish Queen would get away from that end cap bolster. It's a Barlow, dammit, and we're already pushing the envelope by putting a shield on it! I may have to drag out my F&W #71 to support all the bareheads out there. :D

I had a good visit to Arthur Wright & Son yesterday. John Maleham, the gaffer there, very kindly showed me around, and I came back with a number of nice knives, including this Lambsfoot in a special grade of buffalo. Fit and finish are superb :)

That is an absolute corker of a lambsfoot. Love the handles, F&F looks great. Just leave some knives in Sheffield for the rest of us! :D

That is a gorgeous gunstock!

Graduation is today

Congratulations! An excellent choice for the "other" walk down the aisle. :)

I grabbed my favorite F. Buster after work today.

Beatiful stag! I remember seeing one of those some time ago and I regret not snapping it up...

I'll admit, I'm a little jealous that you got one of those USS Texas knives. :o

The Olsen and the Case. The Buck is just a little too small in the hand.
I may have to get the Case 3318 in stainless; it's grown on me a lot.

Funny, I didn't start carrying a Case #18 until I got my hands on a CV model. :D

A beautiful photo and a beautiful #25, Paul! I really wish the Beagles would have gotten that style of jigging, but the green jigged bone is more of a uniform pickbone style which I have mixed feelings about on a knife that size and color. Oh well, I've got my OSR and soon a camel bone to tide me over. Enjoy your stay in that lovely land!

Buck and an Eureka

Buck and a Presidential

I'll give you each a buck and a quarter for those knives. :p :D Love those fixed-blades, fellas!

I really need to try to get out to Andytown for some pics one day...

I went with a rough color theme today because I was running a little short on time.

Lots of beautiful knives and pictures today everyone

I posted this in the "elusive schrade" thread but with the glitches from yesterday it never moved up?

This Schrade Walden 2OT, Augie posted the one that eluded him and it inspired my search:o Full, solid blades with no play whatsoever, wonderful covers and coined liners:thumbup:
