What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Well I hope everyone enjoyed their Father's Day. No kids for me, but I played with 2 friends and one of their fathers in a golf tournament. It was great weather and a great time. Shot even par....the greens proved hard to read for everyone! Winning score was only 4 under.

I carried my newest addition that I bought from a friend. I can't speak highly enough of the quality that comes from Wilfred Works. Plan to carry this today as well.

Reese Bose 3.5" Wharncliffe Trapper in stag and 440V (later known as CPM s60v).

Wow Jake, when it rains it pours... Bose knives lol. Another beauty! Love the WT pattern

I'm over to see ADEE bright and early tomorrow. Going to be carrying these two with me

Enjoy your visit--I'm sure you two will have a fantastic time! ...and it goes without saying that we'd love to read all about it.

Thanks for showing that Pen. I really like the jigging on that bone--how it's faceted on the top and bottom of the handle. It looks like it might have two springs?

The brass is an interesting choice. I think it looks classy and will only look better as it patinas.

I am currently in France and just picked up a laguoile en aubrac. Really liking it so far.

Great knife! I've had a longstanding interest in those. I'd love to see pics and your impressions of the Aubrac when you get the time.

Working from home with a Swiss Army Hiker today.
I normally only use/carry my Alox models. I forgot how cool the red plastic versions are. Nice and light and they look like you should be eating GORP and wearing an enormous Tilley hat!

The compass is not carried at home ;)

Another quick and dirty at-work picture:

Well done again everyone

Gary you are right, the Economy Vics had nylon scales. The one I posted was a Recruit.

Very nice knives bflying, Josh and GuestWho!

I carried these two today. A Northwoods Indian River in mammoth and a GEC 92.

I stopped by at my favorite antique store yesterday and found this chest. Had to buy it.

Have a good one all!

Thank you. I sure will when I get back to the states. Currently only have access to the Internet via wifi on my phone so limited ability until Sunday when I fly back.

As usual I've really slacked off on pointing out the knives I find extra attractive. So I'll just say wonderful knives and photos guys and gals!

I still have the eureka in my pocket, but I just received this one in the mail from Tsarbomba.
So into the pocket it goes.

Thanks Ben, it's pouring alright lol. I now have about half of the collection that I used to but added some really sweet knives.....I haven't even shown the Tony Bose knife I was able to buy haha. Maybe tomorrow.....

Congrats on your T Bose. That's the same size and pattern as my Hampton. If yours is as thin ground as mine is, you know how incredibly sharp that sucker can get. I have a lot of customs but the Bose grinds are by far the best out there.

Haven't posted in this forum lately as I didn't have any traditional knives!

I sold everything off and had this made. Delivered on micarta Monday no less.

I got another new shiny in the mail today so I'm packing around this fantastic trio. It's a bit of a handful but I'm too smitten with both of the new ones to choose right now.

Over the weekend I decided I wanted another 22 Magnum like yours and had seen very recently at least at one dealer, but looked all over Sat Nite and found I had snoozed at least one day too long. LOL

Update, couldn't find another Copperhead Jigged 22, so I gave in and ordered a Buckhorn smooth bone 22. :)

Bizarre, I feel like there were tons of them left when I went looking for one of the antique bone northfields a few months ago (no luck). Wood and copperheads were everywhere, and now it looks like there's just a handful of acrylics left.

Edit: Holy crap I just found a Northfield - bye bye hobby budget for the rest of the year

If knives could talk.....
