What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I've got my S&M Dr's with me. Tried to get a picture of the wood covers, but it proved to be difficult.

The baby's in bed, we should be sleeping but we're watching 13 hours tonight. A 66 slim in my pocket.

Just laying out my wardrobe for tomorrow. Decided to go light and thin. It's supposed to be hot.

Outstanding 'fish. Did GEC actually stamp the blades on that run? I think that's going to have to go on my short list.

Thank you very much for the compliments Dadpool, Jack, and Gev! I appreciate them.

And, wow, as a few others have already said, what an amazing array of pocket cutlery we've witnessed here recently! I started to comment on every one that spoke to me and then realized that that was just not possible without tying up an inordinate amount of thread real estate. I've limited myself to the four below, but I enjoyed looking an each and every photo. Thank you all for sharing!

Old Remington Barlow today...sorry if it's a little dark.

Wonderful Remington. I like the dark look!

That's the best photo yet that I've seen of a Grand Portage.

I'm over to see ADEE bright and early tomorrow. Going to be carrying these two with me

As always, Jack, the knives you've chosen ooze class and character. Would you mind telling us all a bit more about the one perched atop the ball of twine?

What a wonderful patina!

Thank you. I think it was called Bloodwood. Not sure if that is technical or a slang for some other type of wood. And I'm actually a bit jealous about the Denim. Really want one of the new styles in that cover sometime soon. I was actually debating between the Denim, Bloodwood, or a Blue Camel Bone. I was a little late to the party at KSF, so I just grabbed the first cover style of the three that hit the exchange (for no more than dealer prices anyway). One day later I received a message that there was a Denim available also, and I was really tempted to pick it up also. But I was already in the doghouse because I was surfing the exchange and actually found and finalized the transaction during church. I got the evil stink eye every time I brought up another knife want for days. [emoji56]

I wanted the Michigan Jack in denim macarta to Match my Esky Zulu denim macarta .The two I've got coming I have to admit I payed a premium but should be well worth it . The one coming later this week is another Esky Zulu in African giraffe bone covers and it's the nicest one I've ever seen in giraffe bone .
Really looking forward to it .
I'm glad you survived the stink eye those can be very dangerous .
I'm still paying monthly for all the ones I've Recieved lol .

What's the bottom one with the serrations? That looks different. (in a good way) :)

What is that knife in the front? Both of those look fantastic but that one in the front is something else!

Interestingly enough, it's a Cutco. I think it was some kind of promotional item they gave out. My uncle, the lone other knife nut in the family, gave it to me when I was a kid. I clumsily learned how to sharpen on it and have carried it in my wallet for years (even when flying a couple of times - oops). It may not be the most traditional-traditional, but it's special to me. The serrated pen is ridiculously sharp and surprisingly useful. It would be interested to see the design applied to something like a peanut.
