What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Thank you so much for the compliment on the old gem. I always love seeing your beauties. So many fine pictures and knives today.

Just got in from my fathers and having dinner with him at his home. He was really enjoying the humming birds coming to his feeder and had me refill it after dinner. I took a few pictures for him.

Note how cold the elixir is in the feeder

A transcendent moment with my father

It's a dull, dreary chilly day here in the western isles - I'll be lighting the stove so I'll carry something bright and cheerful.

Beautiful Barlow Ron

Had these two with me in York today ;)

Thanks Jack. Those two would be great company to have anywhere on any day.

You may say so, Ron, and I'll totally agree!! I should get a photo of those two knives with the chestnut jigged bone CV swayback jack I got from Paul H; that would be a tremendous trio of knives from 3 preeminent pillars of The Porch!!
Love your old Barlow!!

My knives for the kitchen this week included an Opinel #7, a Rough Rider one-arm trapper, and an Imperial clip/pen toothpick:

Thank you my friend! That ebony is some elegant pocket jewelry. I hope we see Primble soon! He must be catchin lots of fish:eek:

Gev That Humming Bird is a fantastic visitor. We don't get those types here, only Humming Horseflies at the moment and they can take a chunk out of you, aaaaargghh bloodsuckers .:mad: On the bird front, I did see a Long Eared Owl on top of a lampstandard when leaving the Motorway the other night, fine sight but obviously no chance for a shot!

Paul That Orange Crush 25 is a grand colour, warming yes but looks like a thirst quencher on a hot day too.:D

Past couple of days I've been using this 83 lockback, it's no longer blade shiny but it's a marvelous smaller lockback and I really go for the Purple Sage scales, it's what I like and want anyway, excellent pattern and easy in the pocket.
