Great photo of a fantastic knife!
Thanks, Jack. It's in my pocket again today.
Nice old Boker you're carrying today! I would treasure it too.
Great looking stag on your Abbeydale Jack.
Thank you Jack, glad that old Boker is a favorite of yours, that ole Abbydale has some of the best stag ever:thumbup:
Thanks for the advice, Jack; I hope your problem-free celluloid situation continues for the foreseeable future! And thanks for the kind words about my carries; I try not to let pockets go unused.

Boom! There's another beautiful boys knife; congrats! :thumbup:OK the one more has arrived 😎...![]()
Tasteful trio of classic patterns, JD! Is that sodbuster from Spain? That "PB" mark looks familiar to me for some reason.
You may say so, Ron, and I'll totally agree!! I should get a photo of those two knives with the chestnut jigged bone CV swayback jack I got from Paul H; that would be a tremendous trio of knives from 3 preeminent pillars of The Porch!!...
Gary - Thank you for the compliments my friend! I am proud to be mentioned in the same sentence with our friend Bob! I am so glad you are enjoying that Sowbelly. It is a beautiful knife, if I may say so!

When I picked out this old Schrade Cut Co Barlow to pocket this morning, the following thought went through my mind, I wondered just how many times and by how many people this Barlow has been pocketed in its life?

That's a honey-roasted Peanut; splendid knife, Wilsonhome!
With good reason, B&W! Each time I see one of your photos of the knife, the handles look a little different - very cool!I really like this knife!

Stellar stag, Harry!
Congrats on the Norfolk, Dean! Amazing photo with a rock whose color complements the knife!Thank you for your knife appreciation, Gary!
I'm not sure how impressive using a toothpick is, but I can't stand food between my teeth!
The Case is a Medium Stockman 63032, Chestnut handles and CV blades. Here is a better photo, not so dark, that shows the color better. It is an ideal knife with great blades that are so easy to sharpen; slender, and beautiful Chestnut bone. It is tied with the Uncle Henry 897 as my favorite stockman. (Undoubtedly, your Chestnut Case knives stir something in you also)
...
Today's carry is a new acquisition - a Northwoods Norfolk in blue camel bone.

I haven't posted in a while as I've been busy.
I carried these two today.

Have a terrific evening everyone!

Captivating canoe, Nature Boy! That's Rough Rider's smooth tobacco bone, isn't it? I didn't even realize they made a canoe with those covers - something else to add to the "buy one soon" list.
Thanks for the compliment, Jack.

Great job. Looks awsome
Thanks 5K ! I've grown rather fond of these little boys knives .Enchanting elk, Steve! [emoji106]

Congrats on the Norfolk, Dean! [emoji106] Amazing photo with a rock whose color complements the knife!
Thanks for the info about the Case stockman; I didn't realize it was from the chestnut jigged bone series. I've looked at that model numerous times, but I tend to stay away from stockman knives with the square bolster shape.
Welcome back, Ken! [emoji106]

Thanks for the compliment, Jack. Each of those 3 knives is among my favorites because of the story and memories that accompany each!
And your pair are probably among my favorite 3 of your knives! [emoji106]
My knives for the kitchen this week included an Opinel #7, a Rough Rider one-arm trapper, and an Imperial clip/pen toothpick:

Carrying this #77 today.

That's some beautiful green bone! When are we going to petition GEC to make a run of 77 Yankee jacks with coping blades?
This red bone Sawcut #77 came in the mail yesterday, put my own edge on it and carried it asap

Thanks, Erik! I agree, a coping blade would make an excellent secondary on that knife.
Nice, like the vintage look!
Great picture and quality time with family [emoji106]Thank you so much for the compliment on the old gem. I always love seeing your beauties. So many fine pictures and knives today.
Just got in from my fathers and having dinner with him at his home. He was really enjoying the humming birds coming to his feeder and had me refill it after dinner. I took a few pictures for him.
Note how cold the elixir is in the feeder
A transcendent moment with my father
