What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Wow, daily use of the SAK toothpick is impressive, Dean! Nice dark duo today; I recognize Raggy, but does the Case have a name?

Flawless Friday foursome, Dean! The New Day really grabbed my attention today!

More knives I've been carrying all week:
a Case CV chestnut jigged bone sowbelly (thanks, Ron) and a matching Sodbuster Jr (from a BigBiscuit GAW, thanks Bob)

Thank you for your knife appreciation, Gary!

I'm not sure how impressive using a toothpick is, but I can't stand food between my teeth! :)

The Case is a Medium Stockman 63032, Chestnut handles and CV blades. Here is a better photo, not so dark, that shows the color better. It is an ideal knife with great blades that are so easy to sharpen; slender, and beautiful Chestnut bone. It is tied with the Uncle Henry 897 as my favorite stockman. (Undoubtedly, your Chestnut Case knives stir something in you also :) )

That is a beautiful Barlow!

When I picked out this old Schrade Cut Co Barlow to pocket this morning, the following thought went through my mind, I wondered just how many times and by how many people this Barlow has been pocketed in its life? :D

I sometimes wonder the same thing about some of my older Barlows. That is a looker, Ron!

Today's carry is a new acquisition - a Northwoods Norfolk in blue camel bone.

Thank you very much Ron !!! It appears to me that you are starting to accumulate more Stag too , or have I just not paid attention to it ???

Just saw your Schrade Barlow and I like it a lot ! Gonna have to find one of them too !!

Thank you Dean. I have often admired that pattern, but have yet to try it.

Harry, I have a few Stag knives in my collection. I am reluctant to buy online so much as I will admit to being somewhat Picky! I think that while it is of course one of the most natural materials used, it can also be the one that is most often mismatched.:)

I agree with you and try to only buy from where I get to see both mark and pile side ! Not always possible though. I also prefer to buy Stag on Bareheaded styles because of the stag lost in transition down to the bolsters. I do not mind a mismatch if it is Deep Valleys on one side and decent Popcorn on the other .

Really having trouble deciding, most likely the Lick Creek because it has just gotten its first sharpening

I have eaten at least this many berries everyday for two weeks. My dogs eat them too.
