Thank you, Planterz. It's a great pattern. I like the jigged bone and the grinds on the old 1970s Case knives. The half stops make it even more interesting. There are partial half stops on one of my queen made stockmans but I haven't seen half stops on many stockmans. Here's another photo. Mine isn't as dark red as some of the 1970's knives from Case but I think that it still looks good. I'll be totin' this knife again today.

Last ride to PO in a box inside a Bill's case, Gosh, I hate to lose it. But such is life.

Oh yeah! show me the 6332 love, and that old red bone. No offense intended, but I wish you had a better pic of that knife, only so I could appreciate its glory even more. A ~3.5" stockman with red bone handles, a pen blade instead of the pointless (literally and figuratively) spey blade, and halfstops. Perfect. I only discovered this knife a couple months ago, and bought 3 in a matter of a single week.

Im with you. I haven't gotten one yet, but I am afraid when I do get one it will be my favorite knife, displacing my 4 inch stockmans.

Dern tripod! I didn't tell it to be in the picture; always trying to butt in!

Last two items I got before leaving TN to help the economy back home!

My new Eureka jack is still riding in my pocket. Really am happy with this knife.

Well, my Red Wine is up in the mail box, so I'll have that one on me when I head out today, but until then, I have my #73L Buffalo, and my #12 Elk.

I love this knife. I can't say I have ever gotten a knife this sharp freehand on stones before (its doing the silent newspaper trick :D). I know over the years I have learned to sharpen a lot but mainly on a belt grinder and finishing with hand strops and leather belts and various polishing compounds. This is after two days use directly off of my arkansas stones. No strop. This knife just won over my heart because I have always always wanted to be able to stick to stones with the similar results that I can get from my grinder. It cuts anything and holds an edge very well and do to the toothiness along with the super push cutting I put it above my high polished stropped edges. GEC has my number ;)

Some really great knives shown here lately, and Luciano what a pic! Today I'm carrying this little Buck that has had the scales replaced with elephant ivory and some work done on the bolsters and spring.
