What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Love that 25....wow!!!!!

Thanks! That is one of two prototypes from 2008, w/ horse cut bone. I love that little knife--though the next run of GEC 77's that Mike ordered up might kick it out of my pocket... I have a green saw cut bone coming to me.

And you sir post some of the best pics on this whole forum.

My gec 15 pattern.

Hard to find and hard to beat as edc.

Take a keen edge nice little knife

Some beauts today guys! very nice :)

Just had this Rough Rider Sowbelly Diamond Jim model, along, riding in the watch pocket, quite handy, mostly boxes today and cutting some labels, that sheepsfoot is keen for that ;)

Gary, you must have an enormous watch pocket :)
That Rough Rider sure looks nice. I've bought a couple and they tend to be a bit too "fancy" in that every conceivable feature is added to them. That Diamond Series looks just about right though!

hehe well, truth be told, there is NO room left for my pocket watch when carrying that! but it does fit in there quite well at 3 1/2" closed
folks at work admire the nail nics, they've not seen those made like that before. It does add a nice touch.
And lowering the sheepsfoot into the frame more also makes it fit better.

Wow! I am way behind on all these great knives posted since my last visit. I have been totin' one of Charlies Gems the last couple of days. There is just something about these 38's, well I will just say that I like it a lot.:D

Woah Gev! What a beauty! :)

Still buzzing from talking to Duncan on the phone last night :) :) Have a great weekend everyone  Here's me today, carrying my latest Lambsfoot, a generous gift from Bonzodog, an Arthur Wright in walnut, with file-work on the spring and spine of the blade, and my IXL Barlow :)

Very nice example of the single-spring, two blades. Rat-Tails and an access cut-out. I like this set-up in a knife very much indeed.

Mass of decent knives lately, always worth looking at.

Aias Like others, I admire your fixes on the old fixed blade but that 25 in Horsecut is extraordinary. I have a stainless GEC fixed in that same bone and it's really complex in jigging and colours-having some white in it too.

Gev Fantastic old boy that Stabber Jack, the bone so authentically smooth, unusual shield and I particularly admire the smart straight way the blade opens out on it, no droop or 'cant' Mark of quality:cool:

Jack That's what sawn bone is all about on that I*XL of yours, thick and burnished, fine example!

Regards, Will

I'm carrying a 14 in the watch pocket again today. I think the dye job is getting a little lighter. There is some contrast now.
