What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Awesome pictures today and yesterday! I can't wait to see the Northfield Fremond Jacks show up...
Worked and camped with my 77 Barlow yesterday:

And the (new to me) Orchard Gem today. A fantastic and extremely utilitarian knife!

Another one from the Rendezvous. I was fortunate enough to get this one from Charlie on Thursday.

#15 with a light patina forming. This blade doesn't seem to form a dark patina like some of my others. Been using this for a while for fruit and this is as dark as it has gotten.

Edit: you can hardly even tell it has patina in the pic. Sorry.

Got a nice little hike in last night. Started a quick fire in my wood-stove and brewed some tea for friends, and grabbed this shot.

I like your 3 Musketeers for tomorrow, Jack. Will you wear the hat, too?

Thanks GT, they were actually joined by a fourth (Dartanian? ;) ), in the form of this MAM picnic knife. I've actually been carrying it since last March, but this is the first proper pic I've taken of it :o In the end, I just wore my cap ;)

Cool Higo my friend

Took my Rifleman with me today. A Rough Rider Canoe with chequered grip, gifted by our good friend Jack Black.

That's a trip down Memory Lane Thom, I think it was the first time we met :)

Great pics guys

Hey ladies and gents--just thought I'd stop by the porch and show you my latest acquisition... a Cattaraugus 225Q, it was in great shape (but no sheath); I fixed a couple spots in the handle with waxed thread and epoxy, put a nice edge on it, and put it to work. I'm very impressed--such a great belt knife, not too big or small, tough... lots of character and history. As always, you all post such great pictures; I hope to add to this wonderful thread.

Thank you. Removing the hook was easy with a grinder/sander. The swedge was a bit more difficult and I will do that all by hand next time. Otherwise I'm much happier with this blade shape, and single clip 15's appear to be quite rare.

Well done all!

Thanks for the comments Gary and Dean. The Norfolk is mammoth Dean.

Great knives Macchina and very nice Zulu Scott.

I carried a couple of Case whittlers today. A Seahorse and a Half.

Have a good one!

That is a nice 225Q Aias !!! I have found that there is no job within reason that is too tough for it !!! Thanks for posting it .

You have Army Guys!!! With him standing there, that flaming TC reminds me of a Tiny Campfire.

This higonokami (thanks Dan) is always on my desk at work

- GT

Yes, GT, I have Army guys - two of them that I got from Geocaches (always leave something in trade).

Is the leather wrap on the handle of your higo to give a better grip when holding?

Love the bone on both of those!

That's a great photo of a very attractive Barlow.

Today for me.
