What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Today I have a 1999 Remingtion jack knife in my left front pocket and a Schrade 72ot in the right.

Today I'm carrying this little Ken Erickson Sway back jack. I'm growing fond of this little slip joint.

Is it Moose season already in Alaska?. :D

But seriously, both great hard use pocket knives!. The Moose is one tough user pattern.

Today it's a Case small stockman in tangerine bone. It's a beautiful little thing- with great snap on all of the blades. I love the color of the bone- it looks like it's glowing!

I'm a terrible photographer, but it's this one:

I'm really getting into smaller knives lately. The small stockman is even smaller than a peanut, and has three blades. I just drop it in my shirt pocket and it disappears until I need to use it. After so many years of carrying (relatively) huge "tactical" knives, it's liberating to carry something so small and light!

outlaw,

I had no idea there was an autumn barnboard jigged sowbelly! Well, I think that's what that is. Whatever it is, it's a nice knife!

I am carrying and using my Lone Wolf Double Duty every day. I am seeing just how much abuse one of these can take and I pretty much have carried and used it as my EDC since I retired.

Not quite what one would call a traditional folder, but a solid user whatsoever :p

Case XX (1940-1964) 6244 premium jack. It is 3 1/4" long closed.

I just got this beauty today from a private seller on e-bay. I was shocked when I won it for $27! It has a few tiny stains on the blades and the main blade had some whet stone scratches but otherwise the blades were full with great snap. The deep red bone handles are in excellent condition with no wear, cracks or chips. Even the shield showed no wear and was clean. I've cleaned and waxed the handles, buffed, sharpened and oiled the blades and she is going in my pocket tomorrow. It was a good day today. :)
