Very nice all!

Thanks for the comment on the watch opener Gary. I suppose the watch opener tool could be sharpened but i don't know if it is hardened as a blade.

Terrific couple of pairs posted Gev. Nice knife Pt-Luso.

Today I carried a GEC 92 and a Vic Popular with no cross.

I like it Jeff. You did a great job on the bead.

Hope you all have a great weekend.

Wow! Where to begin with the outstanding collection shown...

Atiger and Gevonovich, you both have exemplary Barlows. Truly top notch!

Brett, that Maserin is stunning. Regal, yet approachable. What's the length on that beauty?

GT! I love the wood grain on that Toothpick! Is that a 4" model?

Just a great 25, Alan. Makes me want to search out another 25 or two.

That Micarta pairing has me green with envy, Tim.

That Ebony Medium Jack looks almost sinister, Dean.

I'm glad to see such a great patina on that 2014 Forum Knife, r8shell.

Seeing your dogleg Jack made me slip my Coyote into my pocket, Travman!

That purple 72 with matching bead makes me smile, Jeff. Excellent job matching the dye color!

Today, I put my beautiful Remington Canoe, Pirogue, (Thanks, GT!) on light duty. The office workers with the shiny shoes had a big meeting this morning, and like any good Field Heathen, I scavenged and vultured through the left over catered goods. :D Ol' Pirogue sliced a baguette in half effortlessly, and I split it with a buddy of mine. Then, he posed for a picture when I got home. Have an incredible weekend, everyone!

Today, a Case Medium Jack and my EDC Barlow.

Thanks, Dean!

Goodies across the board !! But the Schrade takes the cake.....!!! I wouldn't mine a bit if I saw it all next week. ;) :D

Dean, Thank you for the open blade shots. That is one of the nicer vintage knives posted in some time. Love it.

Everyone there are so many knives being posted I wish I had the time to list you all, but the knives and pictures of them are fantastic...Thanks one and all for posting

Thanks Jack! Must applaud the fact that you've always the most scenic backgrounds for your knives :o

Ah ok, I can understand that completely. There are a couple knives that just call me back towards them to carry for multiple days straight. :D

Maserin makes some outstanding knives, they use the best bone, horn and other premium materials, thanks for sharin'. :)

I had one just like that and sold it a few weeks before the rumblings of Schrade closin' it's doors started, wish I woulda kept it, seller's remorse :(

Woah! That's a gem Ernie!

This one has been riding along since I got it at the Case store in Bradford. Nice little knife!

Had to edit post. Buzz, very nice!

Have a good one!

Ken K.

All great knives folks, too many to address individually and as usual the photography is a pleasure to page through. The Barlows have been breathtaking and the 2014 BFC Stag Jack is one of my favorite BFC annuals and finds itself in my pocket quiet often :) . Today though after takin' this pic the Graeff & Schmidt Jack spent the rest of the day doin' the daily chores.

That is an outstanding Maserin Brett!!! What is the Model to look for ?????
What is your opinion of the manufacturer ???

Harry

Thanks guys. :)

Harry mine is the small Country Sodbuster.

The buffalo horn this knife has is well above what I expected. At 3 1/2 OAL it is a sold knife and a tad thicker in the handle. I haven't measured, but it has to be a couple mm wider than my 81 stockman or my two bladed GECs.

The pull is a pinchable 5 and the edge came sharper than my GECs out of the box.

There is a noticeable gap between the horn and liner on the pile side (not sure if that is common w/ this maker) that can be squeezed closed and I do wonder if the brass will create any problems on the light colored horn.

However, Ive developed an interest in knives made outside of the US lately so at $45 I couldn't resist.

Thanks for the info Brett !! I have also become interested in decent knives made in other countries and since my favorite knife shop handles Maserin , I have become interested in them specifically. They do look quite nice and the prices are not bad either.
