What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

This one is going to go into heavy rotation. It is another new favorite.

i've been on vacation for a week, not exactly camping out, but I've had good reasons to give these knives a workout.
The Mora is new, Pro C, very sharp, very compact, better at food prep than I expected. It cost me the equivalent of $ 6 in Sweden, which is amazing.

The Vic is about 30 years old and still going strong, easily the most useful blade I own, with a Leatherman wave and a Case sowbelly stockman as second and third in that category.

Nice picture of a beautiful knife, Travman.
My new stainless 15 in tortoise shell along with the Case med. stockman in walnut.

I just posted this elsewhere but it's worth another pic. My newest addition and what I'm carrying today:

Very nice, Alan! Tortoise shell is growing on me more and more every time I see it. I'm carrying my Walnut Peanut a lot more than I realized. Such a well executed series stylistically.

That burlap is something special, Will!

Thanks Shawn. Tortoise shell has a long history, unfortunately at the expense of its original owner. The acrylic is a nice substitute.

Just received this yesterday. Compelled to carry it today. When the process was coming together i thought i was going to like this knife but, in hand it is so much nicer than i even expected.

I've wanted a SwayBack for a long while. Yesterday I finally got one. It's riding in my watch pocket now but I think I'll try to find a leather slip that fits it.

I fully agree Wilson. HJ9 with me today.

Great pic, Bob! I'm really happy with mine too.

I know you'll like carrying that one. A great little knife.

Here's a SwayBack from Joel Chamblin I picked to carry today.

Great knives all. My new favorite factory carry, thanks to my friend Mike, aka Last Rodeo, for hooking me up. I use my pocketknife for food, so I appreciate stainless. Haven't had time to really compare GEC's 440 to their 1095 as far as edge holding, what is the consensus on the porch?

Seems to be comparable (at least in the 15 frame) to me John, but I don't use mine for heavy-duty chores.

Thanks Gary. John, I agree with Jerry in that GEC's stainless seems to be on a par as long as it's not abused.
