What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Posted a mark side pic of this 77 YJ last week that I'd been carrying - and still am, so here's a pile side shot from that same day.

How do you like the 73 pattern by now John???? That is some aggressive jigging .

Harry

Thanks for asking, Harry.

I quite like the 73. It is a very natural shape in the hand. My 73 is still very stiff, but I'm sure that will break-in over time. Although it fits quite nice in the watch pocket of my jeans, I've ordered a GEC pouch so I can carry it on my belt.

Clearly, I have acquired a taste for these little beauties :)

Very happy to hear that you like it. The 73's normally are have a lot of snap . What I usually do to mine is clean and oil the joint and then put the blade in a wooden vise and work the heck out of it to kind of knock the edges off of the blade corners that rub the spring.

One of these, but which? ;)

Likely the Scout Knifebrite, slim carry with a decent long blade. Plus it's dark here now more often than not....

Enjoy your day

Me too, Shawn. I've got newer ones (the 25), I've got prettier ones (the 25), but I don't have any that get used more or work better than this Ebony Wall Street.

Real nice Gary, the lined bolsters are "just enough" on that knife, adding to the look but not taking your eyes off of that stag.

Great looking 99, Alan. I really like GECs smaller lockbacks. Hopefully, another run of either the 83s or 99s happens in 2017.

Thanks, Jake. I've had this one for years and it shows some wear. I might look into sending it to Joel for a tune up. It's a favorite of mine and has been posted many times.
