What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Thanks Jack. It was offered to me by a porch member because of a serious blade scratch from the factory. Just below the GEC shield etch the blade is scratched about half way across. It came from the factory that way and must have happened during sharpening. It was the perfect excuse to put it to use with no worry. I've been carrying it almost every day since. I may consider giving the blade a satin finish. When I post photos I use light to hide the scratch. Here it is for real.

I hear ya man, some times I like a knife too much, I have to buy a second user one just to use. Some folks think its nuts though :D

It's interesting to see that Alan  Glad that you were able to make a user of it, but it really shouldn't have left the factory like that :thumbdn:[/QUOTE]
You're right Jack. But in this case I give them a pass because it's almost impossible to see unless you catch the light just right.

I used to worry about scratches, but these days I love to collect them! :)

A new to me 65'-69' Case 087 stockman. The 087 has become my favorite pattern to carry and that's just what I bought this one to do!

That's exquisite, Ernie!

You are very disciplined my friend :D Thank you, that's a great line-up of knives you showed today
...
Thanks, Jack. :)

Great knives everyone! Well done!

I've been busy and haven't posted much lately.

Here are the two I'm carrying today.

Have a good one!

Ken K.
Good to see another of your daily pairs, Ken; lot of beauteous jigged bone there!

...
My wife came upon me as I was trying a photo of my Talon and suggested this layout. So here we go.

The photo seems to have disappeared since I first noted it, but as I recall, it was an excellent photo of a ravishing spearpoint blade!! Very nice, Dean!

...
Haha I loved that video! Sadly it's getting a bit cold for corgi meetups over here now. Love that screwdriver to accompany your peanut~
...
Felt like some plum today.

Glad you enjoyed the dog video, Tim, and thanks for recognizing my little whittling project for what it was intended to be! :D
That wharncliffe trapper is a real plum!;)

Still carrying the Bose WT! I believe it's been 2 months straight save for a day or two. (Recycled pic)

Another fantastic WT very similar to Tim's (to my inexperienced eye)! Congrats on your 2 month anniversary, Jake.

In the pocket today. Joel Chamblin WT, 3 1/8", ATS-34 and Sambar stag.

Yet another stunning wharncliffe trapper (and I don't think of myself as much of a fan of trappers); fantastic, Gary!

...
The Presidential on another trail today.

Good to see that dapper Presidential communing with nature, Dean!

...
LONGGGG day, and I'm very late posting this

If I recall correctly, this was a lovely shot of your stag senator in the great outdoors; fetching photo and knife, Jack!

If this loads properly, Photobucket may have lost another user. IT HAS

That's a very handsome knife, Emspop!

That EO Scout looks so distinguished, Bob! Is that a sticker for voting early (and often??)? ;)

A few of my knives for this week that I haven't yet posted:

Thanks, Gary! Photobucket is having problems today, so some linked photos are not showing. :grumpy:

Always good to see your special one-of-a-kind stockman!

LOL! Thanks pal :D

I'm just giving Imgur a try!

Thanks GT, that Dura-Tool is a nice knife. Sort of a smaller metal version of a cap-lifter. Oh, and no more photobucket.

Gary, yes on the early voting. This is the first time in MA that we could vote early. The Scout is very pocketable and a handy blade. ;)

This fine little gem found it's way into my mailbox yesterday. It is such a great pattern.... a split back serpentine whittler, I guess.

Nice, I love the pattern. I am carrying my Schrade Walden 804 today, another take on th serpentine stockman whittler.

What make is yours?

Me too, Bob. Happy to have avoided the lines on Tuesday. We waited two hours to vote in the primaries.
