Looking good! :)

Great photo of your Ancient, Jack.

...

My wife came upon me as I was trying a photo of my Talon and suggested this layout. So here we go.

Thank you my friend :) Your wife has great taste, that's a fantastic pic

That looks all business

Cool pic Dean

LONGGGG day, and I'm very late posting this

Honestly Tim....I've been waiting for the grey to start setting in but it's not. I've cut food and things with it also but there's no patina to be seen!

Posted a mark side pic of this 77 YJ last week that I'd been carrying - and still am, so here's a pile side shot from that same day.

I love Yankee Jacks, their size, proportions and pen-behind-main configuration, and am always glad to see others being carried.

What the hey. (The very Stubby Mora!) Aha, found it: Mora Eldris. ("Stubby Mora" proved search-able). :D

Such an exquisite knife, so well-appointed. :)

I've had my eye on one of those Mora Eldris knives for a couple of weeks. That's traditional enough to pass around here. Please do write a review thread when you get a chance.

Pam and I are visiting our daughter this weekend. I only brought 2 knives with me. They are both Case and this Sowbelly is today's choice. :D

Google won't translate "Eldris" for me. I'm guessing "Elder", as in the similarly fat-handled and short bladed Scandian knives called "grandfather", meant to give better purchase and leverage for us feeble-gripped geezers.

oooo you know i had a chance to get that from a buddy and each time i passed on the tortoise shell. looks nice!

glenn special modded 48 for me today

TGIF! Nice knives, folks!
3" Ohta Drop point with me today.

Thanks Jack. It was offered to me by a porch member because of a serious blade scratch from the factory. Just below the GEC shield etch the blade is scratched about half way across. It came from the factory that way and must have happened during sharpening. It was the perfect excuse to put it to use with no worry. I've been carrying it almost every day since. I may consider giving the blade a satin finish. When I post photos I use light to hide the scratch. Here it is for real.

It's interesting to see that Alan  Glad that you were able to make a user of it, but it really shouldn't have left the factory like that :thumbdn:
