What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Paul, I love chaotic jigging style on both of those knives. The funky jigging really suits the Farmers Jack which is a sort of funky pattern to start with.

I had the new 55 with me again today.

Ive let this thread get way away from me, so I'm not even going to attempt to multi quote the highlights. There would be way to many!
The peanut is still going strong. I also added some bocote and oak to the mix for wooden Wednesday.

That's a distinguished dark duo, Ron! I especially like that Workhorse!

A few more knives from this week for me.

I hope everyone has a blessed, gratitude-filled Thanksgiving Day! :)

Gary - Thanks for the compliment on my Ebony duo! A blessed Thanksgiving to you as well my friend! :D

Two beauties there Ron !!! Matching colors and shields .

Harry

Thank you Harry! Have a great holiday my friend! :)

Those are such a nice pair Paul !! The coloring of the Farmers Jack makes it very difficult to believe the big difference in age between the two.
I would hope that you have a Happy Thanksgiving also my friend !!!.

Thank you Harry, I just really like this version of Lyle' s Lick Creek. I agree that the age between the two is blurred by how well done the covers are on the LC:thumbup: enjoy tomorrow with friends and family.

Thanks for the comments on the stockman Ron and GT (and anyone that I may have missed!).

Paul....that Ka-Bar is fantastic!! You'd think I'd be able to find knives like that here in Olean but I keep looking with no luck. I see a lot of junk at sales and the antique shops.

Thank you Jake, love the BOSE my friend, a stunning piece of cutlery. Have a great thanksgiving:thumbup:

Thanks Jon, I like your description of the jigging, it describes it to a "T". It's so pocket worn right outta the tube:cool: That's a great picture of your #55 and the Bocote covers are amazing:thumbup:

Enjoy your thanksgiving.

Paul I never need much excuse to put my user LC in my pocket. The steel bolsters certainly will polish up brightly after a turn on the strop too.

To all American contributors, enjoy your special day and gorging on Turkey:thumbup::thumbup:

GT Thank you, Kerry would be pleased too, he makes a grand knife. Pity he's so seldom about these days.

On a day of thanks, I'm ever so thankful I have friends here in each and every one of you. Thank you all for your love and support.

I have been fortunate to acquire a few knives this year that I never thought I could. This being tops among them. I'm very grateful to the member (and friend) that made it happen.

I was up early this morning enjoying my coffee and reflecting on all the many things I have to be thankful for. Pam and I are spending Thanksgiving with our daughter. I decided to step out back on the patio and check out the weather where I found a wonderful surprise. A single Iris has survived to share its beauty on Thanksgiving morning. The Iris is the state flower of Tennessee. May God bless all my friends here on the Porch and I pray that each of you have a wonderful Thanksgiving! :)

I wanted to stop by and wish my good blade friends a safe and happy Thanksgiving.
While my interest in buying knives has slackened lately, I am still very fond of many that I already have, including this Catt.
Have a great day everyone. :)

Halfway through a long and busy day, but I wanted to call in and wish my friends on the other side of the pond a very Happy Thanksgiving again. Hope you're all having a great day :)

Have a great evening and a good day tomorrow my friend, I'll eat some turkey for you. :)

Jack

Beautiful knife Erik

Wow! Who'd have thought there was so much age between those two

Great pic of your lovely Lambsfoot my friend

Thanks for the compliment, Jack. :) Was your school experience what they call "living large"??

More like the School of Hard Knocks GT! :D

Charming couple, Jack; two horns seems so natural (rhinos and unicorns excepted)! I find that IXL quite enchanting

...

Thanks for the well-wishes, Jack! The TC on the knives you and Dean are carrying must stand for Thanksgiving Charlows today!

It goes without saying, but I'll say it anyway, Jake: what a ravishing, stupendous, transcendent, unforgettable knife!!:thumbup:

I've got a lot to be thankful for this year. I hope you folks do too. Thanks to all of you for the good will, camaraderie, civility and knowledge you all bring to this little community.

In my pocket today and many days.
