I hope everyone has a blessed, gratitude-filled Thanksgiving Day!

Two beauties there Ron !!! Matching colors and shields .
Harry
Those are such a nice pair Paul !! The coloring of the Farmers Jack makes it very difficult to believe the big difference in age between the two.
I would hope that you have a Happy Thanksgiving also my friend !!!.

Thanks for the comments on the stockman Ron and GT (and anyone that I may have missed!).
Paul....that Ka-Bar is fantastic!! You'd think I'd be able to find knives like that here in Olean but I keep looking with no luck. I see a lot of junk at sales and the antique shops.
Paul, I love chaotic jigging style on both of those knives. The funky jigging really suits the Farmers Jack which is a sort of funky pattern to start with.
I had the new 55 with me again today.

I wanted to stop by and wish my good blade friends a safe and happy Thanksgiving.
While my interest in buying knives has slackened lately, I am still very fond of many that I already have, including this Catt.
Have a great day everyone.

Charming couple, Jack; two horns seems so natural (rhinos and unicorns excepted)! I find that IXL quite enchanting
...
Thanks for the well-wishes, Jack! The TC on the knives you and Dean are carrying must stand for Thanksgiving Charlows today!
It goes without saying, but I'll say it anyway, Jake: what a ravishing, stupendous, transcendent, unforgettable knife!!

I was up early this morning enjoying my coffee and reflecting on all the many things I have to be thankful for. Pam and I are spending Thanksgiving with our daughter. I decided to step out back on the patio and check out the weather where I found a wonderful surprise. A single Iris has survived to share its beauty on Thanksgiving morning. The Iris is the state flower of Tennessee. May God bless all my friends here on the Porch and I pray that each of you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
