What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I found it online. It works well. It holds the knife upright and to the side of either the front or back pockets.

I really like the design...ingenous! Thanks so much for taking the time with the photos and the PM!!

Bob - That's a beauty my friend! :)

Thanks Gev ! :) That is a wonderfully nostalgic photo my friend! The content is superb.

Ron
Thank you my friend!!:D. I was going for an old watch ad/knife ad from the 1930s. I researched a few..man those boys could advertise well.

Ron, Jack, and MJ71, thanks for the compliments on the photo of my TC 14. Much appreciated.

I have my old Camilus Cub Scout knife in my pocket

That's a great looking Cub Scout knife, Randy. Does it have liner locks on both the main and the punch?

Thanks, Greg. More of that collection appear at the end of this post. That little yellow TC Barlow is looking good! (I don't recognize the background puzzle; is that some 21st century update of the venerable crossword puzzle?)

Thanks GT. I enjoyed seeing more of the collection.

That style of crossword is called a "pencil pointer". I enjoy having the clues right there in the grid. I've only seen it in GAMES World of Puzzles (formerly GAMES Magazine). According to this it's actually a 20th century invention. :)

Today I've got a bunch of cardboard boxes to break down for the recycling bin, so I'm carrying something I know is up to the job (shown using a recycled picture of it in front of a cardboard box ;) ):

Nice piece of kit for a larger knife

Absolutely beautiful Mr P

Very nice Mr. Jack !

Thank you sir, very kind of you :)

Thanks Bud! Hope you are well.

Just older and uglier thanks mate! :D

72 in natural stag from the last run.
Astounding stag, tonystl!

LOL! :D Thanks GT, my internet connection is working today - for now - but I'm going to get a new service provider ASAP. I spent the whole of Friday, either on the phone (250+ minutes) or at their store, talking to something like 40 different people, most of whom sounded pretty stupid, and several of whom blatantly lied to me. It certainly was infuriating!

I really enjoyed looking through all the Stockman knives you've been carrying
...
I have these two regulars with me today :)

Hope you get reliable internet service for Christmas this year, Jack!
Thanks for the stockman comment; I enjoyed looking through them too! :)
Give my regards to the Abbeydale for its Knife of the Year honors (and condolences to that horny lambsfoot).:D

I've got to second what Bob said, GT! That humpback looks stellar!
...
I've got the Indomitable Duo on me again today.

Thanks, Shawn. I like Bob's description of the covers on the humpback looking like melted toffee; it sure is smooooth! :D
Your duo is bewitching!

Thanks Gary - Two nice Case Stockmans :D
...
Today I have a Case Texas Jack in my pocket. :D

Thanks, Ron; they certainly ARE nice in their own right, and even better for their "sentimental" associations!
Your red bone TJ is captivating!

Gary
I'm with the others on that Humpback and that Sowbelly...wow:thumbup::thumbup:

Cool photo of a delightful knife. "By his stripes we are healed."

Such a scrumptious sowbelly stockman, Gary.:thumbup:

This is such a pocketable knife.

Thanks for the compliment, Dean.
Great photo of an excellent choice for what might be called Madera Monday in Spain! ;)

Flawless Fifteen, Bob!

Carrying my minty, unsharpened (very sharp from the factory) 1974 Jim Bowie Commemorative 8OT today.

That's a grand knife, Jeff! I don't remember seeing that one before!

...
Gary - Is it me, or do you have a thing for multi-bladed cutlery? :) :D
...
I definitely tend to prefer a multi-blade knife to a single blade! :D I used to have no interest at all in single blades (probably because I grew up with a scout knife and just expected "more" from a pocket knife than one blade could provide), but I won a Case Sodbuster Jr in a GAW and all the knives I bought while visiting my daughter in Spain a couple of years ago were 1-bladed mementos, and I learned that they certainly have their charm.

Thanks! I love that scrimshaw! I look forward to seeing more knives!
...
Thanks for the comment, bsprouse. :) I carry that one every day; it is, and probably always will be, my only "custom" knife!:D

Ok..you have them in multiples and I still don't know what it is on the left of your picture ???
...
I'm so glad you asked, Gev! :p I've been completely puzzled by those little objects in Dee's pics, too.

Hope everyone had a great day. :)

That's high-class, Primble!

That is a fine sowbwlly GT !:)
Thanks, it sure is! :)

Greg, thanks for the kind comment, for the puzzle info, and for the photo of your lambsfoot. That knife is a chameleon; it looks a little different in almost every pic you post!:thumbup:

Here are a quartet of knives I'm carrying this week.

Are you enjoying a Tuesday morning coffee in front of Bladeforums as well?

Aye it is Peveril Castle. Taken from roughly the top of Cave Dale.

Exactly that my friend :) It's nice to get one right for once ;) I was on the other side of the castle a couple of months back, but I think it must be 20 years since I walked to the spot you took your pic. It was at this time of year, I walked over from Hope, and then down the dales to Bakewell. I remember how slippery the limestone was in places :)

Hope you get reliable internet service for Christmas this year, Jack!
Thanks for the stockman comment; I enjoyed looking through them too! :)
Give my regards to the Abbeydale for its Knife of the Year honors (and condolences to that horny lambsfoot).:D

Thanks GT, me too! I hope that the Abbeydale isn't getting too puffed up, I may be wrong, but I thought I heard the words 'world peace' come from my pocket! :D

Nice quartet there Gary, awesome Stag on that Canoe:thumbup:

I was just to post much the same Paul :)

Your pic didn't load for me yesterday morning Gev, but I'm glad Ron re-posted it :) Great composition

Thank you fine Sir! Great thread you started ( Knife of 1016 )!. So much great showings. I'm deep in contemplation.

Nice photos as always everyone.
From a few days ago but the same today.
