Haha thanks Will. However I didn't have to wait until January for some gruelling to come along....

Exactly that my friend :) It's nice to get one right for once ;) I was on the other side of the castle a couple of months back, but I think it must be 20 years since I walked to the spot you took your pic. It was at this time of year, I walked over from Hope, and then down the dales to Bakewell. I remember how slippery the limestone was in places :)

I often guess your Huddersfield Narrow Canal shots right and I recognised your Ripley Castle pics from a few weeks ago. We should have a thread "where in the world are our traditionals today"...
Oh and you'll be pleased to learn the limestone is still slippery

Sick today and bitter cold outside, these two are keeping me company. If you ever have the chance to handle a Tom Overeynder slipjoint, you will understand why I think he is one of the finest makers alive, a real all around master. The Seingass subhilt was with me when my daughter was born, there is a pic in Mugshots where I have the knife on her, and it was as big as her, now she is growing at such a rate I just want it all to slow down.

Kris, I am absolutely speechless! Simply amazing!

I forgot who wanted me to post pics of my mini Copperlock in Sanibel, FL. I just got back from a long walk on the beach. Here's the beach and here's the mini with some shells.

That sure ain't no little knife Ron. ;);):D:thumbup:

It sure ain't my friend!:D Love that 294 Schrade!:thumbup:

Lovely covers. I have a 6375 in the same covers. Case really got that series right.

Yes sir they did! The Chestnut Jigged Bone is some of Cases finest, IMO of course. :)

Thanks, Ron; they certainly ARE nice in their own right, and even better for their "sentimental" associations!
Your red bone TJ is captivating!

Great photo of an excellent choice for what might be called Madera Monday in Spain! ;)

Thanks, Gary. Your Soldier is a venerable and faithful companion and nearly indestructible.:)

There's that green beauty again! That's a treasure!

A sky of steel grey
on another dreary day,
but my blade is sharp
and I am content.

Ken Shadow Stag is out of this world, only it's real! Great knife:thumbup:

Bob What is that CASE please? I'm having a fit thinking it's a single-spring Penknife in bone??? Wonderful:D

Thanks, Will
