What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Thanks Gev and Ron. Definitely some simple pleasure fun. We shot a couple hundred rounds apiece and had a good time. :D

And just because - Romeo catching some rays before the temperature drops tonight. I added a heating pad to his bunker;)

Kris A wonderfully sleek interpretation by TB. I've never been that good at fishing, always enjoyed a day by lake, river or sea mind and I've brought in some very eatable fish in my time . Never got into ice-fishing (pilkki) here, just too cold in February/March . But good luck with your fly endeavours...

Snowy Saturday here in NE. Got some indoor activities planned for my grandson and I to hone our skills. I set up an indoor range in his basement with a catch box. :D

Sounds like an outstanding snowy Saturday Bob  Very cool of you to set that up. Your sawcut TC is first class and makes for an afternoon that Tom would approve of:D

LOL! :D Another great pic

Glad that you're liking the pattern  I have mine with me today too :)

Along with this IXL Serpentine Jack

I can't even begin to say how much I have enjoyed carrying and using the Lambsfoot since it's arrival a few months back. Just a great all around knife. Beautiful horn on both your Lambsfoot and IXL

And the Lambsfoot Love spills over to the 15th as well! Very nice, StoneBeard & Jack!!

Here are pics of more knives I'm carrying this week.
I have a MAM sheepsfoot, but unlike flatblackcapo, I don't have the imagination to modify it:

I have a Rough Rider lockback cannitler and a Rough Rider electrician and a Rough Rider small stockman:

Thanks GT. Really like the MAM sheepsfoot. Looks to be a very useful knife with endless possibilities for customizing. Great Rough Rider collection as well. I really like the "be prepared" shield and equation in the smooth bone  Any idea the method that was used to place it there? Is it smooth to the touch or etched in place?

Ryuichi Kawamura Serpentine Stockman, 3-5/8" closed, ATS34 steel, amazing stag!

As many have said, that is a fantastic stockman, Jake! The whole knife is perfect and the spear main knocks it out of the park.:thumbup:

Bottom knife is today's carry; the other one just showed up in the mail.

Thank you everyone for the comments on the stockman! One thing that is nice (and isn't common) is that the nail nicks for the main blade and the sheepsfoot are on the same side making access easy.

That's a lovely Bose Kris. I hope you and your ladies are staying nice and warm. It's 73 degrees here today but is supposed to drop about 50 degrees to our low tonight.

Gevonovich, the Barlow I carried as a kid was a Ulster with a clip and pen secondary. This thread is sure making me wax nostalgia today.

Thanks Will, much appreciated. I don't ice fish either, but I absolutely love to fly fish. I am lucky enough to be surrounded by some of the finest trout rivers and streams anywhere.

Thanks Chris, sounds much warmer than here, still below zero and about -30 last night. We haven't left the house today. Just taking it easy and studying up on a few different pig breeds. Have a great weekend with your family, my friend.

Daggum grass still hasn't died. I was wearing layers two days ago. I was sweating at a Christmas party today. I'll be wearing layers on Monday. I'll be sick in no time!

At least I found a few leaves that have turned.
