Excellent knife  I had a Milbro like that too Donn. If you can't find any rubber, there's a guy sells wooden ones on my local market. They come with the rubber. I could send you one if you like?
I love having a very secure knife. I also love the shield on the Gun Scout. Does anyone know if this shield has a specific name?

Thank you kindly, Bob! I think he removed a blade (pen ) and put the honey back together. Its an E.C. Simmons rework knife and a super gem that I carry a lot. Great snap
Hey Marko....hope your staying warm...I saw you pop your head up...lol
Hey there Gevo! It is freezing cold up here in Michigan! My cat won't even go outside anymore.
:barf:
Always great to see the Keen Kutter and know you carry it.![]()
Thanks, Jack. I love that Rodgers, though it needs more stamping on the blade. They missed a spot.![]()
Thank you very much Jack, very kind of you sir, but I've already ordered a band for it. Apparently two of my nephews are visiting over Christmas and I thought I'd introduce them to the joys of the caty.
Thanks Jack. I'm loving that pairing for today.
Thanks GT. The steel balls can be purchased online. We shoot mostly lead though. It actually has a greater impact force than steel. I have a lead mold that I used to use for fishing weights and jigs that I modified slightly. You can get buckets of old lead wheel weights at the local junk yard. I poured so many a couple years ago, we're still working off the same bucket. Target practice is all captured and reused.
Today it's the Wharncliffe Whittler.
